the very first thing changbin did as soon as he made it to the bus stop was to do a double take at you. 

his heart was racing because one, you were absolutely adorable for thinking of him first and two, why did you look so good even whilst being tipsy till no end? 

“c-changbin? why are you here?” you pouted, eyes hazy. he gazed at your slumped form. 

“binnie?” you called out, a soft hiccup leaving you. 

changbin snapped out of his reverie, hands landing on your waist to hold you steady. 

“dummy. you texted me to come get you. so I’m here.” 

“uh…i did?” you (cutely) frowned, trying to recall. you swayed from left to right and changbin’s grip on you tightened. 

“yeah, you silly. you really did.” pulling you closer to him, his eyes swept across your entire body. 

other than the pinkish hue from the amount of drinks you had that night, you seemed unharmed. 

unharmed and unfocused, it seems. 

you burst out giggling, before shushing yourself, “okay…well!! i don’t remember texting you but i don’t care since you’re here. mmm, my lovely changbin.” 

“you’re wasted. let’s get you home.” 

changbin rolled his eyes, a smirk forming nevertheless at your brazen declaration. you held up your hands to assure him, eyes closed while doing so, “i’m not too drunk. my friends and i only had a few rounds.” 

“yeah, a few rounds is one too many rounds for my lightweight lover.” changbin made a “tsk” sound, instructing you, “i’ll piggy-back you home.” 

he knelt down right in front of you and without hesitation you clambered on, “hehe, my changbin! i love you!”

changbin felt his entire face warm from your confession despite the light breeze caressing his face. hefting you up slightly higher up on his back, he securely hooked his arms around the bottom of your thighs. you nuzzled your face into the juncture of his neck, sighing, “i love you.” 

“ah, what to do with you? you’re simply too cute.”

Kenma understands what it’s like to be talked over and interrupted. Especially in a large group, he knows what it’s like to be ignored because people can’t hear him or think his opinion is irrelevant. It had never bothered him because it would take more of his energy to keep talking anyway. But when it comes to you, he finds it unacceptable.

Kenma was half-listening to you talking about a recent experience, but he didn’t fail to notice how you stopped midway and gradually lower the volume of your voice. Someone in the group changed the subject while you were still speaking. When he realizes you’ve been purposefully ignored, he can’t help but abandon the game he’s almost finished with and devote his full attention to you.

One glance at your glum expression, had him putting down his phone, turning to face you, and in a gentle voice coaxes you to, “Continue. What were you saying?”

Just seeing your face light up made him completely invested in your story. He honestly wouldn’t mind ignoring the group conversation for you – never wanting to participate in it in the first place – as he finds what you’re saying more interesting. Eventually, Kenma would excuse you both to pull you in a quiet place so he could listen to you “better”. Your voice is his favorite thing, and making sure you feel heard has always been his number one priority.

a/n: hello everyone ! this certainly has been really long hiatus but i’m back in business with something small to kickstart my return <3 please enjoy 

wonwoo was not expressive when showing his love in any way. 

did that mean he loved you any less? no. 

he quietly loved you with all of his heart, over and over again. he memorized all of your features, your little quirks. he penned down the moments you made his heart flutter, wrote poems about your never-ending affection. 

here he was, patiently waiting for you to get ready for the date he had planned. “look at my fit!” (a/n: yes, i’m referencing this off dino, true blue carats yall know what’s up.) 

you burst out of the toilet, eyes seeking wonwoo’s affirmation, body never seeming to be stationary as you twirled around for him to see. 

wonwoo lifted his gaze from his phone, the corners of his lips curving upwards into that beautiful smile you knew by heart. he sat up straighter on the bed, scooting over to the edge of the bed, “you’re absolutely lovely, my dear.” 

not a second later you backtracked into the toilet, before frowning at your reflection and wonwoo mirrored your expression. “do you think it looks good? like does it suit me or should I change out?” 

“i love how it fits you. you shouldn't need to conform yourself to fit anything you wish to wear.” 

(wonwoo always knew what to say to combat your insecurities. he was practically your knight in shining armor, fending off any negative thoughts about yourself.) 

“look at me.” you spun around, turning face to face with wonwoo who had his phone out, his fingers strategically placed on his screen to take a picture. 

“...wonwoo, did you just take a picture of me?” 

his tell-tale grin gave it away and he pocketed his phone, pausing to wholeheartedly speak, “i love you. come here my love.” 

“you love a lot of things about me.” you quipped back, making your way into his opened embrace. lightly squeezing him, you circled your arms around his waist and pulled him closer to you. 

wonwoo’s heart skipped a beat, “what’s there not to love about you? you’re worth me loving.”

jongho’s thoughts of whipping up dinner immediately dissipated, and he gave his fullest attention to you. he quickly walked towards you, crossing the living room in 3 quick strides. the food could wait, whatever you had to say definitely shouldn’t. 

jongho sat down beside you on the couch, eyes genuinely searching yours. “yes?” 

“i feel like…i haven’t got the most reassurance from you today.” you fidgeted with the quilt in your hands, tucking your legs towards you. your gaze was downcast as you hurriedly explained your sudden statement. 

“i mean i understand you’re busy and i’m busy too. i just—” 

“come here.” jongho opened his arms and you curled up in his lap without a moment of hesitation. taking in a deep breath, he lightly rocked you back and forth, stroking your back as he did.  

“i’m sorry you didn’t get enough love today.” he peppered kisses all over your face, those feather-light ones that he knew would make you smile. pulling away from each other, he pressed one last kiss on your lips. 

“you’ve been there for me through my tough times, so let me be here for you too. is there anything i can do?” 

“i had a long day, and...i don’t really want to talk about it. so…just hold me, please.” you leaned towards him and he tightly wrapped his arms around you. 

“yeah, of course.”

together, in serene stillness, sat the two of you in your own little bubble. jongho was more than willing to be that pillar of support, just as you have been for him when he was struggling. 

“let’s just lie here for a little longer.” 

since his beloved was asking, jongho definitely couldn’t refuse. sitting back against the couch, he cuddled you, not letting you go. 

yeah, the food can definitely wait.
