summary: if it’s one thing you absolutely adored, it was jeno being the absolute gentleman he is word count: 290 words  

night had fallen and the clouds hung high in the sky; jeno’s date (first ever date, his mind helpfully supplied) with you had come to an end. he squeezed your hands a little tighter, interlocking fingers with you. 

you glanced up at him and gave him a bashful smile, leaning closer to him. the light breeze caused the browned leaves to rustle and jeno fastened his scarf around your neck. 

“aren’t you cold?” you reached out to cup his face. “mhmn’t.” jeno shook his head, ruffling your hair. you halted to a stop right outside your complex and jeno stood in front of you. 

“ah...i wish our time together didn’t have to end so fast.” jeno pouted. “me too. but guess who has a strict brother that sets an 11 pm curfew?” you joked, trying to lighten the mood. 

“can i have a kiss?” jeno leaned forward, tapping his left cheek with his index finger. you hid your slightly embarrassed face behind your hands, but composed yourself and kissed his cheek. jeno took this opportunity and pulled you in closer until your body was flushed against him. His gaze lowered to your lips and you stopped him with an index finger to his lips. 

“don't you think you should wait a bit more to get to know me better?" 

if it was even possible at all, you blushed even harder, averting your gaze. at this moment, jeno thought you couldn’t look anymore delectable than you already were. “if it’s what you wish. how about another kiss?” jeno cheekily asked and you stood on your tip-toes and pecked him on the cheek once more. 

you burrowed your face in his wide chest, hugging him tighter. 

“see you tomorrow?” “see you tomorrow!”

taeil gave his semi-dry hair a final tousle, before hanging his towel at the balcony and making his way to your shared bedroom. 

just as he lowered himself on the unoccupied part of the bed, you mumbled something unintelligible and cracked open a half-lidded eye (most probably in shock, taeil deduces.) 

“...taeil?” you questioned, confusion lacing your voice. “shh, shh. it’s me. go back to sleep.” taeil lightly chuckled at your antics as he placated you, his hands caressing your forearms as your breaths slowed. 

“good night my love.”

johnny watched with a smile as your head lolled, landing perfectly on his shoulder. 

he had started an MCU marathon and you had somehow curled yourself up next to him despite having ended work late. “sweetheart, you seem tired. wanna go and sleep?” “no. no. i promised you that we were going to watch this.” you hastily covered an incoming yawn and johnny gave an amused sigh. picking you up like a sack of rice, he carried you in his arms, effectively startling you, 

“sweetheart, we’re going to sleep.”

yuta watched, perplexed as you hesitated before him. 

he cocked his head to one side, “babe? did you want something?” 

“ah, you know what never—” “—come here.” yuta opened his arms and you were quick to embrace him, hiding your burning hot face. “what are you hiding from me, suteki (gorgeous)?” 

your voice was muffled but yuta heard you word for word, “can you...pat me to sleep?” he glanced down at you and ran his hand gently through your hair, earning a soft sigh from his lover.

“of course, suteki. anything for you.”

“you’re finally home!” 

taeyong couldn’t help but grin at the sleepy, lopsided beam you were shooting at him. lounging at the sofa, the comforter was draped over you as you leaned on the sofa’s arm, gesturing for him to come over. 

he swiftly crossed the living room in two strides and pecked you on the lips. “did you wait long?” “i dozed off for a while there but then i heard your keys from miles away.” 

he bent down to nuzzle your nose and you reciprocated his actions. you let out a yawn and taeyong took this as a sign to hold your hand, leading you to the bedroom, “up we go. time to sleep with my most favourite person in the universe.” 

『 d o y o u n g 』 

doyoung jolted wide awake when he felt someone tugging on his sleeve. “doyoung...could i sleep beside you tonight?” doyoung’s bed wasn’t the biggest but he didn’t have the heart to say no. 

hence, he lifted his covers and you took the opportunity to snuggle right next to him. “can’t sleep?” his voice was thick and he wondered how long have you been awake for already. 

“mark always sleeps with the lights off. i don’t like it.” doyoung was the only one in the dorms who had a small, glowing lamp at the foot of his bed. it wasn’t that he didn’t like the dark: he preferred if he could see where he was going if he needed to get out of bed at night. 

he also wondered how long you’ve been affected by that, but decided that was a conversation due breakfast. “close your eyes. try and get some shut-eye. i’ll be here with you.”

jaehyun and you were having a simple picnic and the weather was perfect: it wasn’t too sunny and there was a gentle breeze. you were lying with your head in his lap as he leaned against the tree, your hands intertwined in his. brushing the wisps of hair covering your face, your contagious laughter lit up something inside of him, his smile erupting seconds after yours. 

“i love you very much.” you propped your hands up to plant a kiss on his face. “let’s take a nap together, shall we?” jaehyun patted the empty space and the two of you spent the late afternoon in comfortable silence.
