i'm nonbinary and i really enjoy being called prince, and when i was making my instagram that was book related, i just thought prince of pages would be nice!

writing update?

so i've actually been writing. like a lot? i finished my first chapter last night after debating and plotting my book for like a week. it's actually going pretty okay, i haven't written anything in a while so it was a bit rough to start with but i honestly think it's going good.

the story you ask? queer southern romance! well more country since its in colorado and that's not technically a southern state. mc is a girl named haley, her love interest is a nb person named mik and i adore them so much.

i'm really excited to write this so expect some updates as time goes by!

another writing update maybe

okay, it's been a bit but i've been bip boppin around doing a few things.

i'm about two and a half chapters into my story, and even though it started off a little rough (i haven't written in a few years so i'm a bit rusty) but i think it is going pretty well for right now. it def could be better but i have been keeping notes on what i would want to change for my next draft so it is going to be a lot better.

i also got a bit of writiers block, mostly because i wrote like 2k words in one day and i think i def fried my own brain. but in the meantime i played the sims and did other slightly creative stuff like makeup and small things like that to stay in the creative mood. it kinda sounds stupid but i think it helped me keep the motivation to want to continue to write.

next! i started reading flawless by elsie silver to stay on the southern/country/cowpoke romance vibe. it's pretty good, though i'm only on chapter like 13 but i do enjoy it so far.

i'm almost done yappiing, it's just been a bit. but i think once my first draft is mostly written i could explain more of the plot/synopsis on here so i know fully of what is going on. Thanks for listening to my yap lmao

another reading update

so i have about five hours left of how to sell a haunted house and i realllyyyyy hate these dolls/puppets.

i feel bad for blaming mark for stuff now i see his side of the story but i do have to admit he was being a bit sus in the beginning.

and the ring leader puppet? pupkin? yeah i don't fuck with him tbh.

its actually scary like? when you get to the fight scene in the house with the needle? yeah that one i was cringing so hard because i hate that stuff so much.

so far i would give it about 4.5 or even 5 stars, it's my type of creepy, an actual book that makes me cringe and be creeped out but not over the top like a slasher horror. i would recommend it so far!
