Let me explain
So
I have mentally separated my book shelf into sections
Things that share the same vibe go next to eachother and are sorted in order of size
Largest to smallest
Then
Authors tend to have a similar vibe throughout their work so they too go together
For example in my manga i have shadow house, black butler and Moriarty the patriot in the same section, starting with black butler since I have the art book and it is the largest
In my little section of romance manga i have multiple different manga's by Rei Toma next to eachother since they give off the same vibe.
Anything that just happens not to fit or I don't really have a place for, or ones that I treasure a little more than most go on the top shelf
