With the help of an ER Nurse with multiple years in her field, this is a Masterpost for an analysis on the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie on what their injuries would be were the movie seen through a realistic lens. How long on average does it take to make your little episodes? Do you have any speed-paints of you doing them?

I spend very different amounts of time depending on how many and what kind of characters I need to draw. Like...Leo and Donnie are the easiest. Then Mikey and Casey, they're more complicated. Raph and April are the hardest, I spend twice as much time on them as I do on Donnie or Leo.

But in general, my speed of drawing one part varies from 2-3 hours to 20-30 minutes.

I never record any speedpaints. But Procreate does. So I can show you one of these:)

This thing is unedited, so you can essentially see the whole process, from the "hey, I have an idea" moment when I drew the first sketch with Raph and Casey, to some of the story changes I made right as I drew because ~improv~ haha

Surprise. Sadly, we're not getting off that easy since these final moments are important. Krang 1 is actually pretty fun to draw but so time consuming. Some themes of self worth and life vs death are starting to be brought up here that I do want to seriously talk about, but I think I'll wait until a better moment a little later in the arch. It's a talk that I think is worth discussing within a safe space, though I can only go as far as to give my own personal experiences. Until then.

Also, Mikey's starting to learn how to make sacred circles! He'll get better at it eventually. I know there's quite a bit of scene jumping going on as of late but it's kind of the running theme of this arch as we hop back and forth between each of these different stories. Hopefully it won't be too hard to follow once we wrap up the final recording.

Also also, I know the Krang's hand should probably MUCH bigger in the last panel since he's so huge, but for the sake of keeping the shot legible just go with it. As always, thank you so much you guys for your patience and all your kind words!

My personal funniest headcanon is that Leo didnt know he was gay, even if everyone just assumed he was, and Cj junior comes along and gives him a gay hoodie for pride and Leo just goes

"Haha, Case, I'm not gay."

"No, you are."

And then leaves.

Leo didn't find out he was gay, people had to find out for him
