1.) Should I write a fanfic based on this hc?

And

2.) Should I write more headcanons on this AU (and other AUs I have)? and maybe how their interactions would be with some of the gods?

PJO! HEADCANON!! Percy x Luke

Ok so you can use this with both female! And male! Percy.

So you now like in a lot of fics Percy is described with black hair, sea green eyes and tanned skin, right? And that he/she looks a lot like his/her grandmother, Rhea, right?

But, what if Luke looked a lot like Kronos?! Like imagine, they ( this is how I picture Kronos, ok?) Both have blonde hair and tanned skin, the only difference was that Luke had blue eyes and Kronos had golden eyes and of course Luke's scar.

But what if at the Battle of Manhattan they both look exactly like Kronos and Rhea and Percy and Luke are just their love story ( of course a little different tho) retold!?

Tritone combs and braids Percy's long hair. He's terribly bad at makeup, but his hands are great with her hair.

Percy is so beautiful with her hair styled in a traditional Atlantis style.

Triton is so good at doing hair. In the sea it's common for loved ones to do each other's hair, he used to do all his sibling's hair. He's not good with makeup (that's not common at all in the sea) but doing hair? Yeah, he's been doing that for thousands of years.

Semi-Aquatic Percy Jackson Headcanons

(A lot of these will be random Atlantean culture ideas I made up)

Markings

If you were to ever see Percy shirtless you would see what he wants you to see, the mist is a powerful tool, especially for covering obvious marks. But if you are one of the few to see him without you would see identical columns of burn marks going from his collar bones down to his waist, each small and precise. In Atlantis warriors mark themselves with each battle won, each powerful enemy slain. Percy choose to brand himself with his victories, so that every time he looks at them and remembers the victory he remembers the pain and suffering wrought with it. Percy is a war veteran, and he’ll be damned if he ever lets himself or others romanticize the killing of war and the death of his companions.

Hair

Atlanteans put either a braid or loc in their hair for each year they are alive. The royal family never has, for in their immortality they would run out of space. Percy has never viewed himself as a prince, and he sure as hell isn’t immortal. He had 16 of them when he decided Olympus's fate, and 17 when he walked through the depths of Tartarus. And ever since he got them he’s had his camp beads decorated on them.

Strength

After his third quest Percy became obsessed with getting stronger to mitigate future deaths. It got to the point where he let himself submerge to the bottom of the sea, to the deepest trench, and let himself slowly get crushed by the pressure of the ocean. Pushed into the mud until he grew the strength to stand up, and then he’d let more weight fall onto him. Eventually he was able to stand with the weight of the entire ocean on him. It took him a week of ripping doors off hinges and breaking something with a touch before he got control over his new found strength.

Monster (Inspired by Witch_of_History’s Series)

Poseidon was renown as the Father of Monsters. All his children have the potential to live up to that title, his godly spawn where born with it, sharp teeth, razor claws, and tough scales. It came with being his immortal child, you were born touched by all his domains. But demigod children only gain access to their parents domains as they age or as they need them, and his half mortal children had never been monstrous. But as with all things mythological Percy pushed the envelope. His time in the deepest depths of the sea caused his body to adapt to his environment, the royal family was mostly homogenous with their monstrous traits. Percy was always an outlier to them though, when he finally ascended from the depths he had adapted beyond human. Increased senses of smell, sight, hearing. Able to sense nearby creatures bio-electric signals, capable of echo-location, can see infrared, magneto-reception. His monstrous form is a blue scaled, razor clawed,bi-pedal apex predator of the deep. A scaled merrow-esque person with an extra rows of shark teeth behind their human teeth. Annabeth and Grover have never been more enamored with a demigods powers before, and the Hunters have never had a better hunting companion. Much to Artemis’ chagrin and Thalia’s delight.

Favors

Strong warrior or kings in Atlantis keep rings of their enemies and allies. On one hand will be rings made from the bones or weapons of enemies defeated, on the other are gifts or symbols fealty of debt’s owed to the wearer. Percy has no lack of rings. Titans, Giants, and ancient monsters leave many spoils for souvenirs. It’s his other hand that draws interest however, he liberated Thanatos, spared Hades after defeating him, assisted Persephone in retrieving her illegally made sword. None of these things came free, other demigods typically are sent off with recognition and little else. But Percy is a hardened veteran of undersea battles, defeating creatures older than Olympus and fighting against Oceanus prior to the Battle of Manhattan. They had no choice but to give him tribute for his actions. Hades and Persephone groaned about it, Thanatos gladly gave it up, and yet having a box filled with rings of allyship, fealty, and loyalty he’s never used them. But what people always forget is that Percy and Annabeth are a pair, whatever one has the other does as well. Best believe it, Annabeth has many plans that could use some godly touch.

Fem!Naruto would 100% be the same Naruto in canon up until she overhears people talking about how she’s a freak and so unlady like that it’s disturbing.

This is Naruto who dealt with people ignoring him so he pulled pranks and decided to be Hokage to force people to acknowledge him.

I’m talking about full on deep dives, I’m talking about stalking various noble ladies to figure shit out, I’m talking about her ambushing her Sensei to ask serious questions.

And then Naruto waltzes in one day a perfect fucking lady.

There is more then just this though. Naruto here has looked into famous ladies to try and emulate them after all. Sarutobi removed what he could to keep her safe (keep her dependent on him as the sole form of kindness though he’d admit that was just a pleasent side effect). He didn’t think to remove everything.

Isn’t it so interesting that little Naruto finds in the library a book on the founders? On Senju Hashirama’s wife Uzumaki Mito?

(Naruto drinks it all in and learns so much. A Uzumaki? Like her? Really? Is this true? And she learns of sealing and of Uzushio. She learns of them. And she decides that they will not be forgotten.)

It’s a lady who walks into the academy. A lady who has a book on sealing in her pocket, a gleam in her eye and a prayer in her heart.

(Everyone who ever knew Mito shudders. Everyone who know Kushina stares. And a few?

The Changeling Prince - Chapter 3 - CF8WRK4U - Tales of Arcadia (Cartoons) [Archive of Our Own]

Jim A.K.A Jotnar tries to get the Amulet of Daylight from Claire, only to encounter complications and familiar faces....

Hi there! So what do you think would happen if Jim had been the one with Shadow Magic, and Claire was the Trollhunter?

Jim does work for Morgana herself, but it's not willingly.

Hi! Another angsty ask, I say.

So, if Jim works for Morgana, but unwillingly, I would say it is because Morgana possesses Barbara in this AU. Jim will do everything to protect his mom, and it's not that far-fetched to imagine that she might show that it's easy to injure or even kill Barbara if Jim misbehaves (and Morgana loses nothing because it's just a vessel for her).

Morgana also feels some twisted attachment to Jim in this AU (he is her apprentice and she sees him as kind of her child). However, her love only brings Jim more suffering.

Angor Rot is also there and acts as both Jim's partner during the missions and his master/sparring partner when it comes to fighting. Angor is sympathetic towards Jim - they are in the same situation, after all. Initially, he tries to help Jim run away (as Angor thought his bindings were looser), but after some time he realizes that Jim puts his mother before himself. Nevertheless, Angor keeps thinking about the escape plans and is rather annoyed that Jim refuses to cooperate most of the time.

Morgana of this AU is rather suspicious of Stricklander as she questions his loyalties. She only contacts other changelings who seem to be more loyal to her. Walter meets Barbara when she isn't under Morgana's control and eventually falls in love with her. However, later he deduces that something is wrong with her (mostly because he learns that Jim is a shadowmancer who helps Bular without much enthusiasm). Strickler abandons the Janus Order eventually to fight for Barbara's (and to some extent Jim's) freedom and joins forces with Claire and her trollhunting team.

As for Claire, Jim learns about her new role right away and is crushed. After all, his feelings for Claire are among the few bright things he still has in this world (another one is his friendship with Toby). Jim tries to hide the information from Morgana, but she already knows. That is why Jim begs Morgana to give him the mission to recover the amulet - it is his way to protect Claire from harm. Jim gets closer to Claire, faking that he has a plan, while also sabotaging everyone else's attempts and secretly protecting Claire from Bular and changelings. Angor Rot is on his side in this charade - he sees it as a way to get out.

Jim joins Claire's trollhunting team as a part of his plan. He reveals that he can do some magic (just not the shadow type). Toby also gets involved, though, by accident, as Jim would prefer not to drag his best friend into the mess he is part of. Jim gets close to Blinky too and his time at the Trollmarket is full of hope (though, he feels uneasy around the Heartstone without knowing why).

Bular is the one who reveals Jim's secret to Claire, and she is furious, thinking that Jim played her feelings just to get the amulet (as they are dating already by that time). Toby is also angry and lost, not sure what to do and if he even knows a thing about his friend. It's where Strickler comes into the picture, revealing everything he knows (and he has gathered more than enough info).

From that point, Claire and her team look for a way to free both Jim and Barbara. Angor helps behind the scenes, and Claire accidentally learns that Douxie, whom she only knows as a waiter, is a wizard, so she begs him to join her team too. Together, they find a way to expel Morgana from Barbara's mind, so Jim feels he is free. Angor also gets his soul back at last.

It's not the end though, as at this time Gunmar is roaming free, and Morgana uses more loyal changelings. She also doesn't give up on Jim, trying to possess him directly this time and getting control over his mind.

Similar to canon, Claire and Toby (but also Barbara and Blinky) travel to the depths of Jim's mind and wake him up. Like Claire in the canon, Jim fights Morgana inside his mind, finding the courage to break the bonds with her and protect his mind for good.

Remember my HC that Jim teaches Draal about baseball and at some point a troll team is created? I commissioned the extremely talented @mdoodlerfandomart to make my HC a reality!!!!

And OMG if these aren't the most adorable, fantastic, glorious, Awesomesauce thing ever!!!!!

Headcanon that one of the nights Barbara is at work and Jim isn't doing TH stuff, he hangs out with Draal and they talk a lot about random things, but one night Draal asks about the pic of Jim playing baseball when he was younger, and this leads to a whole discussion about it... and explanation of what baseball is and how the game works and suddenly Jim is teaching Draal all about baseball and how to play. Like literally pitching balls to Draal in the backyard. Eventually word spreads and other trolls join in and at some point coach gets involved and suddenly there are nighttime games out on the field at the HS.

Some changeling & troll!Jim headcannons

Morgana had been considering making changelings for years, it wasn't a sudden idea; it was something she'd been planning for a long time

She even discussed it with Merlin at one point (under the guise of wanting to better 'unite' humans and trolls), and he proposed the idea of humans turning into trolls instead of vice-versa.

This is where the concept for the half-troll potion came from. What Jim became was essentially a modified version of a failed recipe for changelings that Merlin kept around in case it ever became useful.

Jim wasn't the first half-troll, he was just the first successful one. There was a chance it could've gone horribly wrong (as it has in past attempts) but Merlin took the risk anyway since he saw it working in his vision.

The reason Morgana's version always ended with better results was due to dark magic and Merlin's outright refusal to go there.

Because they were on a time crunch, Merlin substituted some of the rarer ingredients common in transfiguration potions with material from a preexisting changeling.

All they know about the bone used in the potion was that it came from a changeling. They never learned who, or what kind of troll they were, And subsequently have no clue as to what species of troll Jim was partially turned into. And Merlin didn't ever feel like helping them figure it out even though he probably could've with relative ease.

If they had more time for him to work on the potion, and if Merlin actually measured his ingredients instead of throwing them all in a blender, Jim probably would've come out less wonky (an even amount of fingers, among other things).

Eclipse Headcanon

Since I want justice for the Eclipse Armor, and for it to feel like more that just a palette swap post Trollhunters…

I’ve created a headcanon for it

To start at the beginning:

Daylight has “Sun Energy” which is what allows it to turn trolls to stone

The Eclipse has “Heartstone Energy” which is what is needed to harm Gunmar. The energy is provided by the Triumbric Stones since they’re tied to Gunmar (The Birthstone being from the Heartstone he came from and his eye are specifically what grant the most energy)

This is because Gunmar was born from a heartstone which basically makes him one and is why he can absorb the energy of other heartstones

Sidenote:

In essentially being a “walking heartstone” he has greater regenerative prowess than the average troll, able to heal faster from injury and revive parts of his body that are turned to stone. Being in sunlight for an extended period of time will turn him to stone but his regeneration will allow for him to recover upon leaving the sunlit area. He also is sort of provided with his own sustenance but that doesn’t entirely mean he doesn’t need to eat or sleep, h just needs to do it less often than a normal troll

↑ This is also why Bular’s hand near instantly recovered from being turned to stone and why he wasn’t completely stone when Jim wounded him with daylight and he fell into the canal

Daylight was unable to kill Gunmar since his status as a “walking heartstone” (albeit a dying one) makes him marginally more resistant to sunlight. In simple terms, Daylight was “too weak” to finish the job

With the Eclipse having Heartstone Energy, it gains enough power to harm him. It can also do that cause the Triumbric Stones work similar to how Angor’s Eye wards of Angor’s Magic specifically

The Eclipse having heartstone energy also comes with a slight recovery for Jim but it’s not as potent as Gunmar’s or being within range of a living Heartstone (which is why his injuries from the Eternal Night weren’t instantly healed, but most definetly healed by the time they’d began making way to Jersey)

This also leads to a reason why Jim would be in his Eclispe Armor when confronting the Green Knight in Hoboken (In the headcanon sense that Jim was able to take off the armor during his Jersey trip)

Children of Aphrodite, Poseidon and Ares are either hot, gorgeous or sexy. (Or all of the above). I don’t make the rules.

Children of Aphrodite have the type of beauty you never forget. You’ll remember it and start to fantasise about them, until you realise you can’t quite remember the colour of their eyes or the quite shade of their hair. But you just know they’re extremely beautiful. Gummy smiles here and there. Their voices are attractive, no matter the volume that they might speak. Features that they have are beautiful no matter what size. People that felt insecure of something specific like freckles, change their minds when they see a child of Aphrodite that has them—because it looks so wonderful on them that they can’t help but admire it.

Children of Poseidon have the rebellious type of beauty where you know or think they’re a trouble maker. Anything looks good on them, especially piercings. It’s the type of face which would make you blush upon making eye contact with them. Or the type of beauty where you’ll think, “wow.” They look like Roman gods. Too bad most of them never realise it, not even when they have a lover. (Cough cough..Percy).

Children of Ares have the type of looks that make your whole entire body hot and makes your brain stop working for a couple of seconds after first meeting them. It’s the type of beauty where you’ll stutter or start to mumble underneath their fiery gaze and the intense atmosphere that surrounds them. You feel somewhat intimidated but that intrigues you and pulls you in. There’s a reason why Aphrodite was attracted to Ares y’know. It’s the type of thing where you’ll wonder, “who is he” “what’s her name?”. While children of Poseidon look like Roman gods, children of Ares full-on look like Greek gods. Most of the have sculpted features on their bodies or faces. They have attractive arms, not necessarily muscular but when you watch their arms move you can help but be attracted to have pleasing they look. They have smiles that are somewhat crooked but mostly it seems like a challenge, like “hah..? What did you say?” Or “*..you think you can hurt me?”, “what the hell was that, can’t you do better than that?”.

Too wise, she is 😶🫡☠️

I think I’m in the minority on this but I’ve always loved how Rick Riordan never held firm on a timeline — that his books happen now whenever now is. That Grover plays Hilary Duff on his reed pipes in pjo and Leo references the Hunger Games in hoo and Nico makes a Montero joke in tsats and Percy roasts boomers in cotg. Because these characters are transcendent. They don’t exist in one place or belong to one time or cater to a specific generation. They’re adapting and changing as readers do (and as Rick does) to bring in new campers and nudge shoulders with long-time year rounders. It’s clever writing to keep evolving and let these stories exist across a wide plane to make the world expansive and welcoming without limitations. It’s just something I’ve always admired about the Riordanverse

Percy deserves to enjoy the summer~ the calm ocean, a cute Nessie floating thingy, blue soda, and being kissed by the Sun (🤭)… A perfect day without any interruptions *looks at the gods and the monsters with his wolf stare*
