SPOOKY READS

All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater - SO MANY SPOOKY OWLS. Also a lovely story. Howl’s Moving Castle by Dianna Wynne Jones - Tbh I’d recommend this anytime. But there is a scarecrow! And witches! Coraline by Neil Gaiman - Duh. The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman - Let’s be real, anything by Neil Gaiman gets pretty spooky. This one is like the Jungle Book but with ghosts and a vampire instead of animals. It is excellent. This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab - I’m reading it again right now. SO GOOD. It’s like Romeo and Juliet, but with no romance and an abundance of monsters. The Curiosities - A short story collection. Lots of them are spooky! Some are just nice though. My favorite is The Vampire Box. It has an excellent vampire named Saxon. The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff - FAERIES. CHANGELINGS. YES. Also a really good story about family. Hamlet - GHOST. Any version, but this one in particular is a graphic novel and has very spooky (and delightful) art. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern - An absolutely beautiful book. No clowns, which is a plus. The circus itself is a mesmerizing character. Also chocolate mice! I’m going to try and get through most of these this month! Read with me! Or don’t! What other spooky books do you like?
I never thought I would get the chance to pull THIS out again, but
