The planet has been commodified by capitalism, and quite frankly I’m upset about it.
I have never in my life met Heath Ledger, but from what the internet has provided me, I know this much. He was quoted to have said that people always ask about your house, your career and whether you’re married, but no one ever asks if you’re happy.
I think about that a lot, which is probably why I make the effort to make sure the people around me are okay.
Earlier today, I asked my dad if he thought I was funny. He said no, which made me sad. But what he said afterwards really made me happy. He said, “you may not be funny, like your brother, but you’re a lovely person. I’d take a good human being over a clown any day.”
Sometimes I don’t even think I am a good person, or a nice person. I don’t know what I think of myself half of the time, or what to make of myself. I don’t even know if what I’m doing now is going to help me at all, and that’s slightly terrifying.
If I died right now, how would you remember me?
When I die, because everyone does, I’m not going to take my wealth with me, or my material possessions. No one will remember how much I made, or how much I will make. So why should it matter?
I could just go live in the mountains, and live off what God provided for us. But no. We’re stuck in this continuous loop of working hard to achieve the next best thing. What is the next best thing?
People will remember me, if they remember me, for the difference I made and who I am as a person, but capitalism and living for The Man has made us believe that we need these material objects to feel worth and happiness. The day humanity gets back to its roots will be a great day.

BTS Hogwarts AU Masterlist
Love Harry Potter’s magical world by the goddess JK Rowling? Love the boys from BTS? Well, you’re in for a wild run when these two are combined together!!!

In my fanfics, Hogwarts is a bit different. Instead of there being just seven years, there is an option given to all students to continue going to seven more years of the school known as Hogwarts University.
Witches and Wizards that are interested in taking a course more in-depth will be allowed to attend Hogwarts University. If they have a specific course they would like to take, they will decide on a major where they will study. (Much like how muggles attend colleges and universities.)
The boys will all be enrolled in Hogwarts University as first years to seven years students. (Jungkook all the way to Jin who’s the oldest.)
Each boy will most likely have two-part stories, the first being the introduction to how they met their significant other and the second planned on being what has happened to them in either the near or far future.
Harry Potter in no ways belongs to me! All my stories are fictional and I’ve only written them for my own entertainment. Hogwarts belongs to the amazing, queen writer JK Rowling, and I have only borrowed the idea and built my own imagination over them.
Although the fanfic are based on real people, it does not mean they act the way they do in my book in real life.

Being mature is hard
Today a "friend" of mine (I use the term loosely because we've had troubles between us that we are working through) is having a graduation party. I got an invite but I decided not to go.
Why? Because her younger sister tried to start trouble with me at a different party not to long ago. I would've understood the trouble if I had said all the things she accused me of saying, but frankly the things she accused me of were not just blatant lies, they were so ridiculous they were laughable. I tried not to say anything to her, even refused to talk to her until another time. It was a party for gods sake you do not start drama at something that should be a celebration. She insisted though until I lost my temper and an adult had to step in to stop me from saying anything I'd regret.
After that she went away for about a month visiting family, when she came back we basically avoided each other. On my part I did it because I was genuinely still upset that someone would try to stain my name when I've tried to be nothing but a good friend. Knowing how I can be I waited until she approached me on the subject, because by the time she did I'd have come to terms with how she can be.
She then messaged me on a social media trying to act as if nothing wrong, not to be one to beat around the bush after the formalities I cut to the chase and said my peace. Resulting in a few we cools. Even with that the tension between us can be cut with a knife.
It will probably cause trouble in the future. I am the older one by at least 6 years so I will try to be the bigger person.
Example A: me not going to the party tonight because the last thing I want to do is cause my "friend" problems. Due to our religion we don't go to prom, (Not that our local highschools have prom to begin with), so her party is all dressy much like a prom would be like, why would I let me or her sister ruin her night? Only really sad thing is I can't say "hey I figured your sister would cause trouble so in a way to be mature and avoid that, I decided to not show up to a party you invited me to."
It really is a struggle to be the older mature person sometimes.
Next time you buy a book, from a bookstore or online, remember you’re paying for it, whether you enjoy it or not.
Next time you read fanfic, remember you’re viewing it for free. You will likely enjoy it more than the book you’ve purchased, yet you won’t rave about it to family and friends because it’s not as accepted as discussing the New York Times best seller everyone else read.
So that author receives your cash and word of mouth but the fanfic writer you follow just sits around and waits for you to like, read quietly, then unlike without a comment, critique etc. And that’s understandable. Fanfic is widely available. But that fanfic writer is waiting, just like the best selling author, to know if you liked it without the option of compensation, a follow up book offer or the adulation.
Be kind. Offer your fanfic writer 30 seconds to squeal or be constructive and fair. It’s worth more than the cash the best selling author receives and I guarantee you, the fanfic writer will be a bigger fan of yours than the best selling author ever could.
I envy writers.
As an artist I can give you a snapshot into a world.
But a writer.
A writer can take you there.
They can weave together words and create a portal to anywhere. You can visit those places instead of looking out a window and wishing to be a part of it.

Society tells us to be ourselves, but the second we even try It questions whether we are "normal". If we are a happy person to hide our sadness, when we finally crack society calls it a phase. Society makes it so our own personal normal has to be hidden behind a mask. Causing people like me to pause in everyday life and question whether I'm truly being myself or the self that I created for others.
