Hello, my name is Moon. And I'm asking you to spread the word of KOSA (Kids online 'safety' act) an awful, deceiving bill that will censor you, me, minors, and adults online alike.

How the bill works will cause social media to change in a horrible way. It will make it to where you must upload your ID publicly to prove you're old enough to view 'explicit' content.

In reality, that content is LGBTQ+ therians, resources for abuse victims, resources for abortion, resources for Palestinians, resources for sex ED, and more.

It will censor us, destory fanfiction, WHATS NEXT? Uploading private messages? Putting your IP in public?

It will end Tumblr, Fanfics, privacy.

PLEASE HELP END IT! Speak out! Stop them, reblog as much as possible! #EndKosa

Someone reblogged and said it can weaken the leather inside, this has never happened to me for the year or so I've done it, but very likely can happen!! Please be cautious:) this is likely better advice for faux tails! (As most of those dont have leather middles)

Reminder for all therians who have gear/anyone with animal gear

Don't know how/are afraid to do it wrong

Here's a step by step on how I do it! (This is for real fur tails but should also work just as well for faux fur !)

Fill up a sink or a large pot with warm water, NOT boiling/hot!! This can cause the fur and hold on it to grow a lot weaker and possibly fall off

Pour in dawn dishsoap/sensitive skin laundry detergent(regular downy also works!) into the water and mix it around :)

Gently take your tail and soak it in the water, slowly and carefully running your fingers through the fur to remove any excess dirt/grime

Dump out the dirty water and refill it with slightly colder water, run the tail through this again!

Smell testing is also a good idea, step away into a better smelling room then walk in and smell the tail, if it smells bad or grimey another less intensive wash may be needed

If done, Take the tail out, lay it FLAT DOWN on a surface, do not hang dry it from its keychain if it is big or heavy, if not then feel free to hang dry!

Check on it every hour or so, in less than a day it should be good! (Depending on length:] )

And thats all!! I hope this helps anyone with gear who wasnt shure how or if to wash it:)!!

Attention, alterhumans!!

…particularly those in the UK!

This is a post to gauge interest in an educational organisation for therians and other alterhumans! It would have a focus on homeschooling and be mostly online, but would also be very open to anyone attending school.

As it stands right now, it would likely encompass an online community (e.g. on Discord), an archive of resources, “after-school clubs” of therian activities, and regular voice and/or text chat sessions to help with studying, talk about alterhumanity, or just be a bunch of nonhumans hanging out! However, if the project became large enough, we could be looking at irl meet-ups – howls, hiking, wilderness walks, workshops and the like.

The organisation would also be able to support our humans with finding tutors and groups for home education purposes, and for those who are in school, supplementary lessons and tutors.

Basically, it’d be a big group of therians, otherkin, nonhumans and anyone under the alterhuman umbrella, for school purposes and also developing the ability to live in human society, without feeling othered or disconnected from their alterhuman identity.

It would be UK-based, so while alterhumans from all over the world can be involved, the focus will be on the education system here, so GCSEs etc.

I made a Scottish deerhound mask! The base is paper plates, the fur is from an old costume, and I lined it with old sheets! The only bit that isn't easy to get is the nose (mouldable plastic from Amazon). It just goes to show what you can make with stuff around the house!

Idk. Me and my sister have over 150 cuddly toys, (I was terrible with money when I was younger, I would literally buy any cuddly toy I saw), basically we made a whole society of cuddly toys where every one had a personality. Also annoying that there's only about 5 I can use as dog toys cos there's only about 5 without a personality assigned to them...

Also I have far too many crystals, which I guess is my friend's fault cos she got me into crystals.
