Kinda vent ig?
No part of this body is my own
Despite all the years I've lived in this body, it still doesn't feel like me, and I don't think it ever will
I'm not the right species. I'm not the right gender. Where is my fur? My paws? My ears and tail? Why do I not have a flat chest? Why do I not even smell right, the one sense that I used to be able to depend on?
This body isn't right. This society doesn't accept me.
Why can't I just go home? To the forest, to the snow covered pine trees, to the joy of bringing the pack a new kill?
Home to the wooden floors, the warm bed by the fireside, the human who could scratch just the right place behind my ears?
I just want to go home.
Bshsydhshshd I'm annoyed I don't actually have a muzzle cos my muzzle's a bit itchy and I really need to scratch it!
Anyway I've had a good and quite canine day. Someone outside my friendship group noticed my bone chew toy and seems to be accepting! I guess we'll see next week though.

Anyway they were misgendering me too but yeeeahhh try not to think about the part that actually offends me.

So I've decided to start a therian pack! Idk how many people will be interested, since it's going to be in person and in the North East of England, but here goes anyway!

It's amazing. They're working towards body modifications like tails that you can move as instinctively as the rest of your body. It's a few years out yet, but it could be brilliant!
Owwww my tail shifts have been really painful recently. It's like my tail's trying to grow back... It's annoying because it gives my stupid brain false hope, but I know I'll never naturally grow a tail in this life.
Also it hurts which is never good, but I would be fine with it if there was actually a chance of randomly growing a tail.
Yeah I feel like it sounds stupid but between being ill, painful shifts and species dysphoria my brain isn't working 100% right at the moment

I have this weird thing with my family. I don't like saying "I love you". And it's not because I don't love them. It's just that, to me, "I love you" does not mean family love. The word for that for me is "we are pack". And I don't want to upset them by using the "wrong" word to articulate the same feeling, so I just. End up staying quiet.
