Kirishima could hear her shoulder snap back into place, he’d heard that her quirk took the injury from those she healed, and it seemed that it was true. He felt a little bad asking her to heal the animal now, but it would have died if he just let it keep limping along like he’d found it. Besides, she looked like her shoulder was back to normal already, so he couldn’t dwell on it too much. 

“Wow, thanks! That was so cool! I think I might... Do you know what hedgehogs eat?” If she didn’t he was sure Koda could help.

After feeling her own shoulder pop back into place, she knew her arm had healed after using her quirk on this injured hedgehog.  It had taken a few too many steps onto a busy road and gotten its little leg broken, but had now fully recovered.  Melanie handed it carefully into the palms of the only other person to have witnessed the accident.

“It might need hedgehog counselling, but other than that there’s no harm done.  You gonna keep it as a pet?”
