Denki generally regarded homework as a problem for ‘future him’, but eventually that no longer worked. Such as now, the night before math homework was due. He had tried, or at least he’d looked at the paper for 10 whole minutes, but he just couldn’t figure it out. So now he was knocking on Bakugo’s door, easily the best student in their group. If he was busy, Denki supposed he could ask Sero or Jirou. 

“Dude, have you finished the math homework?? I need help.” He called through the door, voice taking on a whining quality. He was now wishing he’d done it last night instead of playing video games. “I’ll charge your stuff for a week!”

Toga let his words make her relax. She still felt excess nervous energy in her body, hands twitching with the need to tear and slash, but she believed Shigaraki completely. If he said he’d take care of something then he would, he was just better at waiting than she was. 

“Good. After Big Sis... We’ll get what we need and then we can kill them all!” She smiled happily at the images going through her head, she wouldn’t be truly happy until she was covered in their blood. This was her family now, more so than her real one ever was, and no one got to touch them without serious consequences. Fatal if she could swing it. Maybe it would be more fun this way, getting the others to trust them as much as villains could, and then repaying that trust with a knife to the jugular. Himiko had to admit that murder was all the more satisfying after she’d been underestimated. 

“Ooh, this will be so fun! How will we do it then, Shi?”

The meeting wasn’t nearly as coincidental as Himiko pretended it was, and she doubted that Bakugou believed it was either, but it was more fun this way. She’d been keeping an eye on him out of her own interest, and not from any orders from Shigaraki. They hadn’t really gotten to spend time together while he was captive with the League, but he’d been so unpredictable and angry and pretty. 

“Oh, Katkat! Long time no see!”  The blond jumped to her feet, easily leaving the chair outside a boba shop.  Without her knives out, Toga found that she was inconspicuous enough to be out for short periods of time as herself, as long as she didn’t meet any heroes on patrol. She could play the part of a normal teenage girl when needed, she was just glad that she didn’t have to anymore. She could be herself. 

“Remember to be nice, don’t want to blow up any of these shops. People could get hurt.” Himiko gave a sweet smile, tilting her head as she lifted her hands to show she was unarmed. Though that could change in an instant. “I just wanted to catch up, I missed you!”
