“Oh, you haven’t had a chance to play yet, have you?” Dara had become a staple at their game nights, but Eijiro couldn’t help but notice that she didn’t always get a chance to play, and ended up making things cooler for the rest of them instead. That didn’t seem fair.
“Do you want a go?” He asked, holding a controller out to his classmate. “I think we can handle a regular round if you have to concentrate on playing instead of the illusions.”

Denki generally regarded homework as a problem for ‘future him’, but eventually that no longer worked. Such as now, the night before math homework was due. He had tried, or at least he’d looked at the paper for 10 whole minutes, but he just couldn’t figure it out. So now he was knocking on Bakugo’s door, easily the best student in their group. If he was busy, Denki supposed he could ask Sero or Jirou.
“Dude, have you finished the math homework?? I need help.” He called through the door, voice taking on a whining quality. He was now wishing he’d done it last night instead of playing video games. “I’ll charge your stuff for a week!”

Shoto didn’t know much about Camie aside from the fact that she had been drugged and impersonated by Toga in Provisional License Exam. Now that they’d had a few training sessions together, he also knew that she was the most upbeat person he’d come across, and spoke in a way that had Shoto questioning that they both spoke the same language. At the beginning of the year, he probably would have left things at that. But now, after Izuku had come into his life, and with the knowledge that cooperation and teamwork were his weak points, Shoto felt that he should try to be friendly. Still, small talk wasn’t his forte.
“So.. How does your quirk work? Can you make anything you can think of?” Surely that was friendly, people liked to talk about themselves. Well, he didn’t, but Shoto knew enough about people to realize he was an outlier in most cases.

The meeting wasn’t nearly as coincidental as Himiko pretended it was, and she doubted that Bakugou believed it was either, but it was more fun this way. She’d been keeping an eye on him out of her own interest, and not from any orders from Shigaraki. They hadn’t really gotten to spend time together while he was captive with the League, but he’d been so unpredictable and angry and pretty.
“Oh, Katkat! Long time no see!” The blond jumped to her feet, easily leaving the chair outside a boba shop. Without her knives out, Toga found that she was inconspicuous enough to be out for short periods of time as herself, as long as she didn’t meet any heroes on patrol. She could play the part of a normal teenage girl when needed, she was just glad that she didn’t have to anymore. She could be herself.
“Remember to be nice, don’t want to blow up any of these shops. People could get hurt.” Himiko gave a sweet smile, tilting her head as she lifted her hands to show she was unarmed. Though that could change in an instant. “I just wanted to catch up, I missed you!”

“Have you heard anything yet..?” Eijiro’s tone was hushed, though he had already made sure that they were alone. But this was something he didn’t like to talk about, hell he tried not to think about it if he could avoid it. Every reminder was another reason that he didn’t belong at this school or around those he’d allowed to trust him. He wasn’t a hero, he wasn’t even a man. He was just scared. The only thing keeping him sane was that he wasn’t alone, Denki was working with the League too. And he was the one better equipped for communicating with them, so that let some of the pressure off of Eijiro at least. Still, he didn’t like to ask Denki about his involvement, he wasn’t sure he could handle the answers.
“I hate all the the waiting.” It was easier to try and keep himself a little detached if he could focus on the next task rather than simply spending time with those he was betraying.
