in my most recent game of team defense fort 2 i was banned from a 24/7 hightower pony rp server for screaming ‘incoming gamer!’ into my mic every time i respawned or charged as demoman. and i have to say, nothing really prepares you for the sensation of hearing a grown man say with no hint of irony in his voice, ‘mr sex goblin, if you dont stop saying that im banning you from ponyville forever’

It's kind of a shame that the "anti-filler" mentality has reached a point where a lot of writers (and fans) assume that if a show isnt constantly moving the plot forward and establishing lore, its basically filler and wasting space. Personally I think its good, if not necessary for a show to slow down and just have characters hang out, or deal with smaller conflicts.

It feels like a lot of stories just want to rush to the emotional scenes with barely any build up to really make it feel earned and satisfying. I've seen fans pester creators to rush the story along and reach the next big set piece rather than take the time to really know and appreciate the characters.

Why should I care about the emotional stakes in episode 2 when I barely know a character's likes and dislikes? how they handle conflict, their approach to relationships both platonic and romantic. etc,

Tried drawing soundwave. I’m not a good artist and I do see a WHOLE lot wrong with this. But I honestly love it regardless! First time I’ve actually been dedicated to draw something in a long time, and i think it’s a nice starting off point, if nothing else!

Cheating a bit cuz my most recent pics are artworks whose artists names I didn’t catch (not gonna repost it as my own or anything, I’m just saving them to my camera roll to look at later cuz I think they’re byotiful!).

I may not be giving myself enough credit, but she may have to be the proactive one in the relationship. I won’t be mad if she isn’t, I just don’t see myself as an initiative-taking person. Most of the times I’ve hung out with my friends, it’s because they invite me/ kidnap me.

I know I have a lot of followers who are trans minors so grandpa duo wants to give some wisdom that I wish someone told me when I was a baby trans man.

You don’t have to change your name. You can keep it. It’s not a requirement.

You don’t have to have T/E to be trans.

Don’t wear your binder while doing sports. It hurts.

You don’t have to be hyper masculine or hyper feminine. Just be you.

Do not use bandages. They can cause issues.

Surgery isn’t a requirement.

Being part of the lgbtqia+ community is a new family. If yours doesn’t support you now, we do.

You don’t have to pass to be trans. You are trans anyway. You look good.

Go to a coffee shop and use your chosen name to get a feel for it. They’ll shout it.

Be proud of who you are. It’s not a weakness it’s a strength.

If it’s not safe for you to come out, I promise it will be one day. The closet sucks but it’s better than being hurt. Use that time to find other people in your situation.

Being trans isn’t glamorous. It’s tears, pain, hurt and being unsure. That’s okay.

Detransitioning is fine. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Transitioning later in life is fine. Transitioning early in life is fine.

Transitioning wont happen over night. If you take hormones, it can take up to 5 years to see big differences.

Bottom surgery isn’t a requirement.

Top surgery isn’t a requirement.

You don’t have to come out if you don’t want to.

It’s okay to be angry about not being cis.

It’s okay to mourn the person you were.

You can change your name again, you don’t have to stick with it.
