Some notes:
Xel'ia had innate talent as a healer, but no formal training at the time of HW, so on page 2, you can see her trying (and failing) to heal. She also didn't pick up drk until after HW, and mainly did it as a way of coping with her grief and heartache.
The whole thing is inspired by a quote from Buffy (though I ended up changing it a little) and Dragonsong Reprise Ultimate!

Since Athena and Nike are closely intertwined in Greek mythology, I like the idea of them knowing each other in the unsundered world. Athena, in her pursuit of godhood, becomes fascinated with Nike's power/combat prowess and sets out to test her.

I tried to capture her personality, but it's hard in such small vignettes. She's soft, warm, and compassionate, but she also has learned not to take any shit over the years, and she's confident in who she is.
