I Have Now Finally Updated The Ref Sheet To The Well Renowned Owner Of Lime Ricky's Pizzeria And Soda

I have now finally updated the ref sheet to the well renowned owner of Lime Ricky's Pizzeria and Soda Float Shop: Lime Ricky! (full name Richard Limerick)

I loved playing around with his color palette, so this was tons of fun!

Lime Ricky is the owner, founder, and cook of Bright Light City's most popular pizzeria and soda float shop Lime Ricky's Pizza & Soda Floats, an adolescent/adult friendly version of Chuck-E-Cheese where the pizzeria (and arcade it comes with) is the main spot for the older kids and teens (and hungover adults coming from the many bars nearby) come to eat the greasy but addicting junk food and the soda float shop being for the number one hang out spot for teens and adults that want to stay away from the bar scene in Bright Light City and would rather have a nice soda float instead

Lime Ricky is very much well known for his laidback, easygoing, and overzealous with a really good snarky sense of humor but also a sleazy and shady business owner who only seems to show care for the creating of his greasy junk food concoctions, mixing up his world famous specialty soda floats, and/or when he's counting his money. He doesn't seem to care all that much about the upkeep or sanitation of the pizzeria like he does for his soda float shop nor does he give a shit about the supervision of the children who come there "as long as they asses get in the door an' their parents pay the cash" (as Ricky would put it himself)

As a result, kids are often seen unsupervised running amuck and causing chaos in the pizzeria, a lot of it also oddly caused by Lime Ricky's most favorite customer: Wispy Brighton!

Lime Ricky also comes from a long line of restaurant owners, chefs, and entertainers alike where he has learned about the three topics from his father (the owner and cook of a popular diner) and his grandfather (a business man and stand up comedian) and has put them into Lime Ricky's Pizza & Soda Floats

Another thing that Lime Ricky is (unfortunately) known for is having extremely greasy fur and hair and smelling of fried food and old cooking oil due to how long and frequent he works on the kitchen making pizza and other greased up foods alike, so many are hesitant when it comes to making physical contact with the rat!

Notes:

Wispy and Lime Ricky (and Dave) met each other at a house party that Wispy was throwing at his apartment one night and Lime Ricky just so happened to be one of the guests that night, once they met each other and realized they had similar interests (partying, weed, and junk food), they had hit it off right away and have been friends since

The reason why Wispy is Lime Ricky's most favorite customer and let's him eat for free is due to one: free weed from Wispy and two: Wispy's chaotic antics he causes at the pizzeria and going to the soda float shop to cool off afterwards was oddly bringing in more customers and money for him, so he's let him eat for free since

His favorite kind of pizza is half meat lover's pizza and half five-cheese pizza

His favorite kind of soda float is a Cherry Lime Ricky with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a cherry and whipped cream on top

On Friday and Saturday nights, he does a stand up comedy routine on the stage of the pizzeria (which usually houses an animatronic band) to entertain the customers, which is pretty much just Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog mixed with Gilbert Gottfried

His favorite fruits are limes and cherries

Finally made a new ref sheet for Wispy's best friend and cigar-loving skater dude, Emmett!!

I'm honestly so happy that I drew him again for this, he's a lot of fun to draw!

Known for frequently hanging out around the giant skate park that Bright Light City has and having a gigantic skateboard collection in his small house that's set up in the grittier part of the city, Emmett is about as loud, crass, obnoxious and wild as his best friend since childhood Wispy

Though Emmett can tend to be a LOT more hyper and high energy (and feral) than Wispy is, so he can be a HANDFUL for a lot of people that know him

He works in a skateboard shop that's located next door to Wispy's place of work, The Millenni-Yum and due to this, they both tend to skip out on their job in the middle of their shifts, just to hang out and goof off together

He is also known for being Wispy's best hype and wing man when it comes to encouraging/enabling Wispy and his actions or even helping him try to finally get a date with Ivy!

Notes:

The skateboard shop Emmett works at is called Grinderz N Wheelz, it is a semi-popular local skateboard shop that's well known for its custom made designs on their boards

Emmett works as the person who creates designs for the boards and then smoothing the board itself out

His left ear had gotten torn up as a result of a skateboarding accident he had when he was around 8-10 years old, he had to go to the hospital to fix it up but he was fine other than that

He has tried multiple times to get into/audition for America Ninja Warrior, but due to pretty much getting pummelled by the course itself the very first round, he's never managed to do so

The only reason he even smokes cigars in the first place is because he believes it makes him "look cool". He fucking hates the taste of them and hates tobacco/nicotine otherwise

I finally updated my fursona/mascot's ref sheet since Art Fight is going to be in a month! It's funny since he's last ref sheet I made for him was from 2019!!

Anyways, here's info/notes about him and NeonBrite (the series/project that he's the main character of) (all underneath the read more)!

The character of main focus is a brightly colored river otter by the name of Wispy Brighton. He is a 25-year-old convenience store clerk and overall stoner slacker and professional asshole. He lives in a giant metropolitan area called Bright Light City, known for its incredible nightlife, neon signs, clubs, bars, and many many entertainment districts, shopping centers, and whatever else that you can ever think of to do in a giant city.

He happens to work the same shift as his roommate and friend Dave Fitzgerald, a 23-year-old deadpan and reserved goat-rabbit hybrid who finds Wispy to be a loud asshole but he doesn't really care about much anyway so he puts up with him.

Wispy, strangely enough, has the ability to use interdimensional travel whenever he so desires, thus has been questioned to have ancestry of extradimensional or galactic origin but he's never cared to look further.

As known by most who know him (especially Dave and his best friend Emmett Thornton, a 25-year-old skater weasel), He goes on his interdimensional adventures more than he does his job or even more than he pays rent so he's only home a few days a week though he spends plenty of time in his home dimension wandering around the city as well.

This series/project (NeonBrite) follows Wispy as he embarks the adventure that is his life

Notes:

Due to his strange ancestry, he has a Toon Force body/abilities. This means he's able to be hurt/injured to the point of dismemberment and will be fine in a matter of seconds to a mere couple of hours and other such known cartoon logic

The convenience store that Wispy and Dave work in is called The Millenni-Yum, a basic combo of 7/11, AMPM, and the convenience store from Clerks

One of his favorite places to eat in Bright Light City is Lime Ricky's Pizza and Soda Bar and is very buddy-buddy with owner and thus gets lots of discounts/free food from there

One of Wispy's biggest crushes is Ivy Buckingham, a plant skunk who owns a flower/plant shop that's set up across the street from Wispy and Dave's apartment building. Due to his overall chaotic personality, he comes off as more crass, abrasive and immature than he would like to her. As a result he sometimes tries way too hard to impress her
