I live in the northern part of Gaza, and I created this campaign after my home was destroyed. Now, in northern Gaza, we are starving. We have nothing—no clothes, no food. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I don't know much about crossing country borders, but I have to agree that those costs are ridiculous. Maybe it's due to the number of people who are trying to get to safety or have already crossed and it's causing some sort of population problem. Either way, again, it's just ridiculously high
