There's a dialogue compared to the Japanese dub and English dub that's missing here. I became aware of this from a Twitter post in Japanese though do bear with me that this is machine-translated and I'm only putting up Andromon's quote:

"I'm ashamed to say it myself, but Andromon of Justice!" - Andromon, Digimon Tamers Episode 31 Japanese Dub

But in the English dub, in a proudful and shameless manner he says:

"A humble servant in the fight for good! Andromon the Just!" - Andromon, Digimon Tamers Episode 31 English Dub

This was just me noticing again how various Digimon media greatly contradicts the Andromon species reference book lore.

Title: Digimon OVERLOAD: Chapter 18 - MJ's Sincerity for the Machines

This was sadly the last chapter I would work on before just ending the fanfic altogether. I think it was a couple months before I would make that decision, but I was pretty active with the fanfic in art.

I remember this chapter being an MJ and Gabumon chapter, showing that even an optimistic girl like MJ can be vulnerable. I believe there was this metal city I made for this fanfic where the machine Digimon had driven all organic Digimon underground. She and Gabumon would almost be captured in this metal city while trying to save some "organics" who were still stuck in the metal city, before an Andromon would come to save them all, retreating to the metal city.

They would work with MJ and Gabumon to try to lead a rebellion against Machinedramon: the Digimon who ruled the city with an iron fist, with Andromon, who reveals to be a pupil of Machinedramon before his radical discrimination came in. Commence the fight of machine vs. organic Digimon and MJ with Gabumon and Andromon vs. Machinedramon. They don't kill him, but HiAndromon, who digivolved from Andromon, would drive Machinedramon out of the city. However, they would learn that Machinedramon was under the influence of Lilithmon: one of the Seven Demon Lords, which would drive her influence into MJ next. The chapter would end on that cliffhanger.

It's a shame I could keep going with the fanfic. This second arc is where I remember the most, in terms of story beats, but I could never re-create what I wrote. Oh well. At least I have these pictures to remember them by.
