Danny’s in Gotham for whatever reason be it school, work, or just for the weekend. His core by this point is fully developed and just projects calm & safety constantly cause he is constantly in a hero position back in Amity and both help him deal with people and ghosts. (Working doubly so for ghosts/ectoplasmic creatures cause they tend to need to feel it strongly for it to work on them). Anyways he comes across one of the batkids affected by the pits (Jason, Damian, Cass) who is currently very growly and violent and just yoinks them up by the back of their shirt/jacket/whatever like a disgruntled kitten.

The situation goes from a step away from violence to immediate confused and relaxed calm. Vigilante children go completely slack because WOW do they feel safe and calm right now.

Danny is too tired to notice anything other then the fact that: ghostly -> anger -> fight -> something he has to deal with

So once the area feels calm he just places whoever he grabbed gently on the ground pats their head and continues on his way. No context and by the time the bats get their heads in working order he’s already gone.

It is now a hunt to find this dude while Danny barely misses running into them by complete coincidence. He has no idea what he started and doesn’t even really remember the event cause he’s done that exact thing to calm situations down so many times in Amity that it doesn’t even register as something important to remember.

The batkids are actively pulling all the stops and just failing to find this guy. Bruce is not even involved it’s just the kids.

This reminds me of that one post I saw where Harry said since he was raised by muggles he could probably/definitely beat Lucius Malfoy in a fist fight.

Because of ghosts wearing literally what ever and the Drs.Fentons jump suits extremely “alternate” clothes have just become normalized and nobody really cares anymore as long as you are still wearing clothes.

Danny, as someone who spends way more time with ghosts and ghost clothing choices is so completely desensitized to Ghost Fashion ™ that he just straight up can’t tell human heroes, rouges, or civilians apart from each other.

Metropolis: *multi supers ending up near Danny due to his concerning “vitals”* huh, there’s a lot of people wearing Superman related clothes here, must be a trend.

Okay, so I had this random thought after reading Pining after the Blue Paladin by Thicc_ass_thieves where instead of Lance's gestures at tied-up Galra + security cameras being ancient mating gestures, they're actually death threats or something. Sure, the idea of them being some wildly out-of-context shit and the Galra either think the Blue Paladin is secretly some kind of genius --which is not entirely wrong-- sending subtle hints about some other thing or think he's just really weird --also not entirely wrong-- but the idea of the gestures being death threats in ancient Galra culture is just 1000 times more funny because it's Lance. Lance is probably the kind of guy to cry over really small animal babies (or human babies, doesn't matter but happens less), make really bad puns because why not, learn the most random things for the weirdest reasons, and a whole lot else which makes the idea of the Galra thinking he's someone dangerous and unstable and willing to wear their hides as cloaks is hilarious. Just imagine the kind of whiplash the Galra get when they get news of Lance just being the absolute saint he is on one planet and then news of him making murder-hobo gestures on another. Imagine when they meet as allies instead of enemies. Shit would be wild.
