Kind of crazy that’s Arc 2 done of my fanfic ISYH - 26 chapters & 133k words down, and (at least) 39 chapters and god knows how many words to go!

So excited about things to come in Arc 3 - Himiko’s provisional licensing exam and the events that follow it was something I particularly loved writing, but there are also big bits of plot development, of course all their relationship dramaz, and a few punches right in the feels too. LOTS more BkDk build up this Arc as well!

Story linked if you want to have a read! Thank you to everyone who already does - it’s genuinely wild how many of you are reading every chapter, makes my heart very full! 🥰

(And if you are a reader I am so sorry for the HIGH EMOTIONS of the last few chapters, got to raise those stakes innit, but I *promise* I’ll make it up to you!)

KILL

KILL

KILL

Kind of hilarious to me how poorly the title "Mob Psycho 100" localized to English-speaking areas. To someone whose first language is English, it scans as:

Mob (Yakuza, Mafia)

Psycho (violent person with "crazy" behaviors)

Thus: a particularly violent member of organized crime.

But in Japanese it scans as:

Mob (background characters in crowd scenes in manga or anime)

Psycho (short for psychic)

Thus: a psychic who looks/acts like someone you'd never pick out of a crowd scene in a comic.

Fan art Comic of a young Ford Pines and Fiddleford Mcgucket from Gravity Falls. It is rendered in greyscale and a style similar to the show. Panel 1: Fiddleford is squatted down, reaching into a cardboard box with the text, "Property of F." On its side. He is looking off camera with a smile and he has a paper crown on his head. He has a speech bubble, "Now I know you ain't a big fan of christmas movies." Panel 2: Fiddleford is holding up 3 VHS tapes. His eyes are closed and he has a big grin. The Backupsmore logo is visible on his sweater. He has a speech bubble, "So I was wonderin' if you'd rather fancy watchin' a couple of modern classics." Panel 3: Ford has grabbed a VHS from Fiddleford's hand and is holding it up. He is looking at it intently with glee. His speech bubble reads, "Is this Ralph Bakshi's The Lord of the Rings?! It's on VHS??" Below the speech bubble is small text reading, "Released, 1981." Fiddleford's hand is visible in the lower left corner having reached out to give Ford the VHS. His speech bubble reads, "You, Mister "I can speak elvish" Didn't know? Well I'll be!" Panel 4: Ford is looking off to the side with a tiredly bashful expression, his jaw clenched and one arm rubbing the back of his neck. He has two speech bubbles, "I've been busy." "I never even saw it in theater." Panel 5: Fiddleford leans on Ford's shoulder, looking down at him, eyebrows slightly down turned and smile seeming sad. He holds a VHS tape loosly in one hand. Ford is looking down at another VHS tape he holds with both hands. His pupils are massive. The speech bubbles are a conversation, Fiddleford speaks first, "Suppose it goes to show, it's never too late..." "Mmmhh." "Heh, I'll put on the tape." "Hmmmm"
Fanart of a young Ford Pines and young Fiddleford Mcgucket from Gravity Falls. It is rendered in a painterly greyscale with the characters in a style similar to the show. The pair are in the Portal room with unfinished materials and machinery all around them. There are christmas lights weaving between machine parts. They are sitting on a make-shift bench and there are a few empty mugs and glasses around them. Both are looking at a small CRT TV which has been angled up using bricks and scraps of metal. The TV is the primary light source in the image and it has a paper crown hanging off it. Fiddleford is laying on his back, watching the screen upside down, he is smiling contentedly. To his right, Ford is leaning towards the TV. His head is resting on one of his palms and his other hand is holding a glass.

Holiday Classics

Been thinking about Ford watching the 70s Animated Lord of the Rings Movies... (companion comic to this post!)
