I don't think the Minecraft movie can be salvaged, but if it did still have to be a Jumanji-esque isekai couldn't it be about some depressed old middle-aged guy rediscovering his childhood and getting in touch with the wonder he experienced playing the game as a kid? Him entering his old world and being found by the villagers he used to trade with, who happily welcome him but also hurriedly explain the situation with the pillagers conquering the world since he left? The pillagers who came from villagers he used to interact with, who felt abandoned when he stopped playing? And the story is about how the world we experience is formed by our actions and our hope and we have to try? To love life as it is? And to form community and connection? And how at the end of the day the universe may be cruel and unforgiving but it's also a place where we can make our dreams realities? And how when it comes to our defeatism and nihilism, sometimes all we need is to reach out and wake up?

It's a very math rock song so having Snails and Oft here is so fucking perfect---- Track is there because "train", that said 1:17 is a bit early for that lyric to come up lol-

On September 25th, 2023, I posted the original character sheets for the Chain as Cryptids au. It had been a brainworm for much longer than that, but one year ago today, I mustered up the courage to share my silly little ideas. And I think that might have been the best thing that’s ever happened to me!
Over the course of this past year, I have found so much joy in these little guys. Looking back at the oldest CAC posts, I’m really proud of how my art has improved, I feel more comfortable sharing my stories, and I have made some of my closest friends. So to everyone who’s stuck around for this year and everyone that’s come more recently, thank you so much for allowing me to create! This has meant the world to me.
I will be taking CAC art requests to celibrate, but I’m going to be very real with you guys- Echoes of Wisdom comes out tomorrow. Please be patient with me if it takes me a while to draw haha. I fully intend to be sucked headfirst into that game!
So if you have a request, please send it in an ask so I can respond to it directly! I’ll pick as many as I can and I’ll draw them as soon as I have the time!
