DUDE This is exactly how i feel too! I didnt expect that one day out of boredom i would find and start watching the show and become hyper fixated on it. Well, I did lol- And maybe I went a little far naming myself Raph, but it wasn't reeaally intentional.

On this rp app i used to have, I met a group of people, who I didn't realize would become so important to me now! I played my oc, but the group didnt have someone playing Raph yet, so I decided that maybe I could. And it kinda just stuck with me. Its really funny too because we all actually match the characters we play somehow. If I had not watched the show, I don't think I wouldveet these wonderful people im lucky to call my friends, and even family.

I may be stuck doing the rise mouth corner things but honestly, its really cute okay- After Rise, I actually gave tmnt 12 a try, because I grew up thinking 'Oh I should watch girl stuff this isnt really it'. But i did think my favorite would be Donnie bc hes purple or Mikey bc hes a foodie. And so, I started watching it. It was crazy to say the least- But in a good way! I think. Obviously its not perfect, but thats okay. And yes Mikey was my favorite in that show.

But the thing is, I felt very relatable with Raph sometimes. And its ironic because back then, I jist some him as someone with anger issues yk? I didnt like how angry he got and how hes angry all the time. But now? Sometimes, I'm like that- Its hard to admit but its true. I dont like being angry like that because my anger can hurt other people if Im not careful. And I don't want that- I think Ive been getting better at not getting super angry, kinda? (my brother does NOT make it easy-) But, yea.

Holy moly I sidnt mean to rant LOL- It was going to be a short little message- Oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So all in all, Tmnt is the best! I love Rottmnt with with all my heart <33

Happy Birthday to the Rise movie, 2 whole years, man how time truly flies.

If you'd told me 2 years ago that I would still be knee deep in the trenches of an intense hyper-fixation of TMNT of all things, I highly doubt I would have believed you.

Yet here we are, my best friend had decided that "hey, you'll probably like this show I've been watching..." from there the rest is history. Every so often you come across a piece of art or media that just lights a creative fire inside of you that refuses to be ignored. The Rise series as a whole has been responsible for inspiring so much growth in my art, whether that be more techniques to push pose designs even further, become more daring with composition and finally, finally have human anatomy studies make sense.

I've also met some truly wonderful people thanks to the Rise fandom, I've not been bold enough to reach out to artists/writers I admire in the past but after taking the plunge and becoming apart of some community servers I've been lucky enough to forge some special friendships with some truly wonderful people. (Y'all know who you are and I love you so so SO much.)

Happy Birthday to a movie and by extension series that continues to inspire me with its incredible directing, genuinely hilarious writing and warm, tender heart.

Keep writing, drawing, painting, posting and talking about this truly special little series and maybe one day we'll see get to see it light up our screens again.
