Do you have any advice for someone who really wants to get into art but has no experience?
As the wise philosopher once said: ‘JUST DO IT’ – Nike.
No but seriously! Don’t be daunted by the idea of ‘not having experience’ and therefore not being allowed to get into art! The only requirement you should need is wanting to get into art in the first place, and you’ve already ticked that box!
Just do it. Pick up your pencil, and let your hand run free and mind go wild drawing everything you’ve ever wanted to draw. Make your own characters, make your own stories and worlds, go wild! Maybe once you have your fun and settle down a little, check out some free resources and try to learn something you’ve always wanted to! Maybe youtube some tutorials on how to draw faces, or google images and reference pictures of maybe some animals you’ve always wanted to draw. Practice, practice and practice, but always be open to learning what interests you, and eventually, challenging yourself beyond!
