Do you have any advice for someone who really wants to get into art but has no experience?
As the wise philosopher once said: âJUST DO ITâ â Nike.
No but seriously! Donât be daunted by the idea of ânot having experienceâ and therefore not being allowed to get into art! The only requirement you should need is wanting to get into art in the first place, and youâve already ticked that box!
Just do it. Pick up your pencil, and let your hand run free and mind go wild drawing everything youâve ever wanted to draw. Make your own characters, make your own stories and worlds, go wild! Maybe once you have your fun and settle down a little, check out some free resources and try to learn something youâve always wanted to! Maybe youtube some tutorials on how to draw faces, or google images and reference pictures of maybe some animals youâve always wanted to draw. Practice, practice and practice, but always be open to learning what interests you, and eventually, challenging yourself beyond!
