April 2023 Tarot Reading

If this month isn't meant for creating goals, I don't know what other month it would be. 

The major arcana of The Chariot is driving forward and does not care who or what is in the way, Cruella gets what she wants there's no doubt about it. The obstacles that may come up this month may seem daunting at first but there is always a way around them when you think outside of the box. Don't let yourself down when things get difficult, instead look at it with a sense of opportunity.

The minor arcana, the Knight of Swords, is another force to be reckoned with. Percival McLeach is the embodiment of wants versus needs. McLeach wants every endangered species in his collection but it also doesn't mean he needs them. Think about your wants versus needs, what drives you forward this month that you really want but don't necessarily need? And what needs do you think needs to be tended? There may be several opportunities to reach your goals but this is what you want when there could be several opportunities to spend that extra five minutes tending to your personal growth and mental health as your need. Find a balance and routine that works for you! Don't let mental health drag your goals down as mental health and personal growth will always be on your list of goals whether short or long term.

Journal - 06/06/2023

So to start this out, I will be going on a little bit of a hiatus. Things have not been going too well and there are a lot of things I need to set aside and reorganize.

Me and my life partner has been struggling with money and we’re trying to figure out how to pay off our debt. It's been lonely, exhausting, and has been wearing on both of us mentally and even physically.

My Patreon will remain open to the public for days that I will want to post something, but I will not have the tiers available for those looking to join on a monthly basis (this means no tarot readings will be available either, personal and monthly). I will do my best to stay active here but it's looking more and more unlikely that I will be able to keep up weekly in the next few months.

Part of my reorganization journey will include taking a break from college, as recent events have stressed me enough to the breaking point that I can barely keep up. Eventually, I will rejoin for the next semester but I don't know when that will be, I'm hoping by then that I will have enough time to take more classes and earn my degree quicker.

Anyway, I really hope that all you witches and beautiful creatures are doing great and have had a great start to your Summer (or Winter for the Southern Hemisphere). I'm wishing that all of you have a wonderful day and I will see you all when I am more mentally prepared and having a better time in life.

I will still stream live here every now and then so keep a lookout for that if you're interested.~

Hello everyone! Long time no see~ currently doing a little better but still trying to hang on at least until some rescue funds are available. Hello and welcome all beautiful creatures! I wanted to make an official introduction for my blog here on Tumblr and introduce myself properly :)

Here you will find an assortment of goodies ranging from Tarot, herbs and their magickal properties, reviews, spells, rituals, and more!

About Me:

You can call me RaveMey, or just Rave for short, I am a Virgo and love the colors green, pastel pink, and lavender. I love tea, coffee, and good-for-you food. I am an artist and love to paint, draw, create, anything to do with the arts, I even love to sing! I enjoy outdoor activities and hanging out with people when my "social battery" isn't low. I work full-time in retail loss prevention and spend the rest of time doing hobbies.

I identify as an eclectic practitioner and am still learning more about other traditions that I may want to incorporate into my path. I have been practicing for a little over 10 years and am well versed in the basics. I continue to learn through online classes and hope to get into more focused teachings soon. I specialize in healing and protective magick but also love to use small spells and charms for dreams as I love to utilize dream interpretation for a sort of shadow work to look into what things I can improve on in my daily life and to help me lead a positive outlook mentally and physically.

I am what you would call a "one man band" as I do everything here myself and create everything myself. So patience is very much appreciated while I still try to establish myself here and on other platforms :)

Sometimes just existing is an offering. Not everything has to be a big, grand gesture. The gods understand so much more than we think they do. They’ve existed for eons, have had thousands, if not millions, of people pray to them and offer to them and become their devotees. Would they really curse one person, out of all these worshippers, for simply trying their hardest? Have more faith in them.
