That got me thinking about Day of The Dead and how the point of the holiday is to remember loved ones that have passed away and it's also on October 31st.

So in the Obey Me universe was The Day of The Dead the holiday made to mourn Diavolo's mom since she died during childbirth? Some places celebrate his brith and others grieve at the loss of the queen depending on where you go.

Idk I'm kinda fucked up thinking about it. Diavolo somewhat blames himself for his mom's death and his dad outright treats him like it is (Lesson 50 something in the OG game Diavolo explains this to MC)
