Having Major Writer's Block For This Chapter So Here's Some Thoughts I Want To Share Now That We've Seen
Having major writer's block for this chapter so here's some thoughts I want to share now that we've seen the first conduit in my AU
Spoilers for my fic below the cut!!!!
Each of the conduits will be tying to different memories for Narinder. As a result, we don't get to see Narinder's thoughts about the conduits when we see them. It will always be Aym, Baal or the Lamb who have thoughts and are describing the conduits. However, when we get to the Silk Cradle arc, that's when I want to DESTROY Narinder. So we will be seeing his POV for the conduits in Silk Cradle
Anyways, the memories.
For Leshy, I want to focus on Narinder’s thoughts on his baby brother. There's a memory that is similar to my short story "The Biting Baby" on my Ao3. A lot of messing with the baby brother, assisting him with complicated emotions, etc
For Heket, I love the idea that the two of them were very close, so I want to portray a sort of partners in crime relationship with the memories. So them getting in trouble or just messing around, that kind of stuff
For Kallamar, I'm thinking of Narinder struggling with his older brother being SCARED of him. I've never seen that tackled in a CotL fic yet, so I want to explore his emotions on this
Lastly, for Shamura, I want to show how Narinder looked up to them and adored them and how betrayed he felt. I want to focus on sweet memories where they're patient and lucid and paying attention to contrast with their current state
I'm also forcing Narinder to have conversations with his siblings after the memories are brought forward to contrast the current relationship with the old one
Narinder and Leshy are going to argue/fight a lot, Narinder and Heket are going to be more somber and sadder, Narinder and Kallamar are going to actually have healthier conversations now that Kallamar isn't constantly terrified.
And then Narinder and Shamura. I really, really want Narinder to have hard-hitting conversations with Shamura. Conversations where they explain their thinking and he explains his own pov and how betrayed he felt. I want him to BREAK DOWN during these conversations with Shamura because damnit they betrayed him the worst out of all of them
Yeah, just hurting him and then healing him slowly

appalachia is devastated. towns i loved, towns i visited all the time, are gone. not damaged, GONE. they are leveled to the ground. there is nothing left but rubble and ruin. people are dead. appalachia is poor to begin with and relies on tourism for a lot of its income, and multiple of those tourist locations are just...gone.
my town is okay, but it's flooded and wrecked. trees are blocking all but one way out of our neighborhood. power lines are hanging limp in the roads. we've been without power for over 24 hours and will continue to be without power for likely another 24+. disabled people and poor people are GOING to die from this. gods save appalachia.
I used another OC because EVERYONE ELSE is drawing the Fox today
Also I already drew him for day 1 so I didn't want to start reusing characters yet

You're not sure if you should trust the High Priest of Chaos. You're especially uneasy because you haven't seen Bishop Leshy around today

The cliffs in Darkwood are just as Chaotic as the God who runs it. The Lamb didn't know this and stupidly jumped down a cliff without looking
Not their best moment

This is literally my favorite drawing I've ever done so far and it's only day 3

Narinder's resurrection wasn't too... normal, you could say. The Lamb did their best, but now the poor boy has resurrection trauma

There are magical remnants coming off of him and his eyes are wide and fearful. He is wearing rags and has scars on his wrists and ankles.
