I’m so fucking glad that Heartstopper made it abundantly clear that even if Ben was a hurting, damaged person, that does not make anything that he did okay. That what he did to Charlie will never, ever be okay. That Charlie never, ever has to forgive him. That Ben never deserves that. That nothing Ben does will make what he did okay. Ever.
And even if Ben becomes a better person, that will never erase what he has done, and it does not ever mean that Charlie has to forgive him.
