it's a tragedy i think that Tumblr doesn't appreciate IGOR like it could.
it's literally the album for being in love with a straight boy. igor, the titular character, is the failfaggot of our generation. he's obsessed with this dude then the second he finds out he has a girlfriend he threatens to kill her. in one song he's yelling how he doesn't wanna see the dude again, then the literal first Iines of the next song are 'i wanna talk i wanna call you and talk'. by the end of the album he's like 'im totally over you now leave me alonneee but wait no can we be friends tho'. the album can be looped near perfectly, implying he's fallen for this dude multiple times.
he's such a relatable gay loser but tumblr doesn't love him because some of ya'll are scared of anything more rap than like tally hall
speechless. they're so gay for each other, love them sm. please, survive.

welcome to the graphic novelization of ride the cyclone
have you ever wondered what ride the cyclone would look like as a graphic novel? well, so have i. after about a year, i’ve finally decided to at least try to pursue this project. however, i don’t want this graphic novel to be something that only i want to see. therefore, I’m going to set up various polls from time to time to see what you would like to see. this will be a collaboration between me and anyone who answers the polls.
the current timeline for this project consists of a few stages, which will be listed below:
picking the “cast”. for each character, i will be making a poll of as many different actors/actresses that have portrayed the character. whoever wins the poll will be the inspiration for both the characters design and personality.
character sheets. i will be posting character sheets with basic information on each character after the poll is finished, so feel free to send in your hcs/characterizations of the characters
designing the main “set”. much like the characters, i will be making a poll of as many different sets of rtc that i can think of. whichever set wins will be the primary inspiration for the actual setting
writing the script of the graphic novel. while i will likely be sticking very close to the script of the show, i will be making polls on adding scenes, different choreographies, and much much more
creating a model of the main “set”. this will be worked on in tandem with four, however, will likely not be posted/as featured. i will however be posting progress shots along the way.
making the comic. this likely will be the slowest part of the project, but will ideally have the most content posted/created. i also will (hopefully) be making fanart during this project so that way there is still content to be consumed. the posting of pages/chapters will be voted upon in a poll when we are closer to this part of the project

please keep in mind that this is going to be a very long term project and be patient with me. i firstly have a lot of work cut out for me, secondly have little experience in making comics, and thirdly have a life outside of my project, which means that i may not be as speedy quick as a pro webcomic artist

Ok, look, I'm gonna say one thing about this then remove myself from Tumblr for a few days because I can't watch the cancel culture bs happening.
Neil Gaiman has always been a staunch supporter of trans rights.
The journalist who broke this story has written articles supporting JK Rowling's transphobic beliefs.
Radfems and terfs LOVE to pretend that trans people and people who support trans rights are paedophiles or abusers.
The only major newspapers I have seen cover this are the Daily Mail and the Telegraph, both of whom I have seen be transphobic in the past. I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing other papers and new outlets are trying to you know, verify their sources before they run a story.
This is breaking the day before the UK General Election, in which trans rights has been a major debate.
We don't have all the facts. I haven't seen a news source I would even vaguely trust cover this story.
Take a deep breath. Think about who is giving you this story, and what they might have to gain. Don't jump to conclusions. Wait for developments.
This is all I'm going to say on the Neil Gaiman situation--
We do not have enough information yet. To both the people defending him and to the people striking him down, there is not enough information yet. Personally, I am going to wait and see if the bulk of the information is legit before jumping to conclusions
I also believe it is important to note that the writers of the article are terfs and that the main publications of this information have posted transphobic content in the past; it's a very common tactic of transphobes to publish misinformation on trans supporters to bring them down and I do believe it is foolhardy to ignore that
(But even so, this does not mean that the content is necessarily false, it just means to proceed with caution regarding it)
HOWEVER, if the information turns out to be true, then support the victims. If this is real, support the victims, this is not a situation to be taken lightly
And I believe the people who are posting about Good Omens right now and being all "but what about my show" should not be doing so. I 100% understand, but there are bigger issues happening that should be taking center stage over your concerns for GO
Like I said in the beginning, wait and see for more information, and in the meantime, proceed with caution. If this real, support the victims, do not make excuses for the perpetrator
