because we literally had our stories silenced and erased throughout the entire course of history. because up until the last decade we had only a handful of wlw canon pairings and they still got killed off. because even now when wlw have happy fulfilling relationships their shows get cancelled

telling people to stop always finding validation and self-recognition through queer-coded characters when we have literally been denied those stories as long as stories have existed is ignorant and hurtful and shows you can’t even do the bare minimum of trying to empathise with another person
