Y’all know the “tired adult somehow keeps adopting children”. I propose the opposite: “small child keeps adopting tired adults.”

Just, this one kid keeps collecting parental figures and by the end of the story has a whole army of tired protective adults that would do anything for this kid.

When you have the characters, and an overall story, but no plot.

I wanna look like you

I wanna be cool like you

I change something about me

To remind myself of you

I cut my hair

I change my clothes

I pierce my ears

You help me grow

And with every new person

I change to look like

I find a new piece of me

That I can grow into

I don’t know if it’s healthy

To wish I looked like you

But I don’t think it matters

Because I’m finding me too

Is it easier to be manipulated and know that it’s happening but still fall into the hole, or not know you’re being manipulated?

Do people realize that some people don’t actually want glasses?

I have glasses, and I need them for driving and work, but most of the time I’d rather not see clearly. I am so used to everything being fuzzy, that wearing my glasses is overstimulating. I feel like I’m seeing too much and too little at the same time, like I’m wearing blinders.

I don’t know if anyone else feels that way but it’s certainly interesting.
