I change something about me

To remind myself of you

I cut my hair

I change my clothes

I pierce my ears

You help me grow

And with every new person

I change to look like

I find a new piece of me

That I can grow into

I don’t know if it’s healthy

To wish I looked like you

But I don’t think it matters

Because I’m finding me too

It’s so weird waking up in the middle of the night and freaking out cuz your hands don’t feel like your hands

Roses are white

Violets aren’t blue

Flower colors don’t matter

When my love is for you

The roses are fake

Plastic pieces we built

At least now we know

The petals won’t wilt

I’ll give you a cactus

Cuz flowers would die

You give it a name

To keep it alive

Roses have thorns

The cactus has spines

Do you want flowers?

Would you be mine?

My favorite thing is when two characters are married in all but rings but don’t realize it. BUT THEY KNOW THEY LOVE EACH OTHER (that’s important. None of that endless pining shit. Please)

When you have the characters, and an overall story, but no plot.
