To Anyone Getting Mad At The Alterhuman Community For Using The Word Dysphoria To Describe How They Feel,
To anyone getting mad at the alterhuman community for using the word “dysphoria” to describe how they feel, please know that it actually is an accurate description of the feeling. It doesn’t make someone transphobic to use a word that isn’t only associated with trans people. Please know what words mean before getting mad at someone for using that word.
As an alterhuman who is also trans, I can say that gender and species dysphoria feel pretty much the same

wait... you're thinking about gay sex and killing yourself again aren't you
Me too
I like men
This is relatable. Mac and cheese is the meaning of life

So like I had a big family party a few days ago and we made mac n cheese cause I like mac n cheese a lot, but we made too much mac n cheese and had like 2 and a half trays of it left after the party
I didn't really mind cause I like mac n cheese a lot and so for the past few days I've just been eating mac n cheese for every meal and I've been loving it
But today my mom goes "we better put it in the freezer before it spoils" and I'm kinda sad about it cause what will I eat now, y'know?
So I go to take a nap and I have this like CRAZY distressing dream where I'm in this white blank void and in front of me is a glowing and floating tray of mac n cheese and I try to reach out for it but my hand just passes through it and then slowly the mac n cheese starts fading away and like I fall down to the ground straight up CRYING because I'm so sad about the mac n cheese leaving me, and I wake up with tears in my eyes and I have that like melancholic feeling of having forever lost something or someone very close to you
The meme above is an artists rendition
Physically disabled alterhuman here. Can confirm, it isn’t just about quadrobics. Some of us can’t run around on all fours. Some of us can’t make or afford gear. And a lot of us are adults.
That being said, a lot of the mask designs are really cool, and I would totally get one if I had money
Semi rant but it's kinda annoying how therians immeditaly get coined with quadrobics/walking on all fours. The identity part get's really pushed out of the way for outsiders, not having any other look on the community than younger people wearing masks and doing quads.
A therian is not defined by mobility/a sport. A therian is not defined by wearing mask nor a tail nor any gear, if you don't want or have any. A therian is not defined by age.
I dislike the TikTok part of the community for that, even though I post on TikTok myself.
Might make some Watership Down fanart later. I dunno. Been thinking about what life would be like for Fiver after the events of the book. Poor guy must have so much trauma, maybe even more so than the others, because of his visions. I want to draw him happy. Free. Safe.
Of course, I don’t know anything about drawing rabbits. So, if anyone reading this could give me any advice, it would be greatly appreciated
