25 Days Of Agere Moodboards - Day 5, Favourite show to watch!!

i assume this means when regressed/dreaming, so I did adventure time! it largely depends on what age im regressed to, but adventure time is one i watch a lot no matter the age. if its an older age, i usually watch pretty cure :3

In the middle of the image, there's text writtwn in yellow and blue saying "come slong with me" with a heart at the end, also underlined with pink and black. Around the text is images of Adventure Time characters. One row is Finn, the other row is Princess Bubblegum, one column is Jake, and the other is Marceline!

A banner that reads: "Misumi Nagisa protects this blog! This user occasionally has a child mentality. DNI if your blog is NSFW or if you plan to be rude." Next to the text is the character Misumi Nagisa holding a katana.

a│s : agere & pain days

each regression journey is different and sometimes agere + pain days will mix for whatever reason (personal or medical).

so i've made this to showcase some ideas to help make the pain day a little brighter + to remind you that you are still a valid regressor <3.

here are some tips from miss pumpkin to help <3

⭐ wear some comfy clothes/pj's to help with sensory issues!

⭐ soft foods (such as soup/fruit) to help with an upset stomach.

⭐ plushies for comfort!

⭐ bubble bath + muscle relaxer to help with stiff muscles.

⭐ heat pads/ hot water bottles to help with tense muscles/cramps.

⭐ extra pillows for body parts that need elevating.

⭐ don't be afraid to nap, it sometimes helps!

+ here are some low activity agere activites to enjoy!

⭐ watch some kid story books on youtube!

⭐ play some online games!

⭐ make moodboard/stim boards!

⭐ do some worksheets/colouring!

⭐ make/organize your playlists!

🧑🏽‍🍼 Caregiving 101: The Basics 🧑🏽‍🍼

Hey kiddos! Over the years I’ve had lots of new CGs ask me for tips on what they can do to be the best CG they can be. I decided to turn that question into a post for y’all. Being a CG is something that takes time and experience, so we’ll just be going over the basics that every CG should know!

What is a Caregiver?

A caregiver (CG for short) is a person who cares for and looks after a regressor while they are small!

Can I only be someone’s Caregiver if I am dating them?

Not at all! Not every regressor and CG are in a relationship. Sometimes a CG and regressor are just friends, this is called a platonic CG!

Is it easy to be a Caregiver?

The short answer is “No”. Being a CG is a lot of responsibility and it is not a task that someone should take lightly. Caring for another person can be hard sometimes, it can be emotionally taxing. This isn’t to say that being a CG is impossibly difficult, but if you aren’t willing to make a commitment to your regressor and take on the responsibility of caring for them then you should re-consider being a Caregiver.

Do I have to be a CG 24/7?

Absolutely not! It’s unresonable to expect a CG to be in a perpetual state of caring all day every day. Just like most regressors are not regressed 24/7, most CGs are not in caring mode 24/7 either. The most amount of caring is done while the regressor is regressed, and when they are not regressed the relationship dynamic is however the two of you want it to be.

What are some good traits to have as a CG?

While the best qualities to have depend on the person you are caring for, it’s always important for a CG to be patient, emapthetic, respectful, and willing to learn! It’s also very important that you and your regressor set clear boundaries with one another and respect those boundaries at all times.

How can I be the best CG I can be?

Being a CG is not an exact science, every caring relationship is unique to the CG and the regressor. However, no matter what it is vitally important that you and your regressor communicate. I’m going to say it again just because of how important it is; no matter what you and your regressor need to communicate.

No one knows how to care for your regressor better than they do. If you don’t know how to care for them or you feel like you could be doing better, you should talk to your regressor. Ask them how they want to be cared for, ask them if they feel well cared for, no one will be able to answer those types of questions but your regressor.

Is anything else that’s important to know?

There’s lots to being a CG, and it’s impossible to fit it all into one post, so be sure to remember that there’s more than is covered here. With that being said it’s very important to remember to take care of yourself too! You may have a regressor to care for but you can’t care for them if you aren’t caring for yourself too. If you ever start to feel worn down or burnt out then let your regressor know and take some time for yourself. Your well-being is important too, don’t neglect yourself just to care for someone else!

A STARTER GUIDE FOR NEW CAREGIVERS

this guide goes for any new caregivers out there that want to start caring for a kiddo so badly but don't even know where to start :]

🫐 first of all: don't freak out, learning is always important and this is your time!

🫐 make sure to establish boundaries and/or rules with the kiddo you're gonna take care of

🫐 ask if the relationship will stay platonic or romantic beforehand (very important!!!)

🫐 be careful with your words, don't cuss, be kind and respectful to them

🫐 allow yourself to take time off your caregiver duty

🫐 ask which games they like to play, which toys they enjoy playing with

🫐 get to know your kiddo, it's important to know their triggers or phobias

🫐 if you have time, write down the routine you and your kiddo should follow

🫐 if you're long distance make sure to reassure them that you are there, call if you feel comfy with that, send pictures, tag them in nice posts

🫐 reassurance is important also if you take care of more than one kiddo

🫐 ask them about their day even if it's just happy nonsense babbles please listen to them

🫐 listen to their concerns and tricky questions

🫐 respect their alone time and they should respect yours as well

🫐 clean their baby gear, put their stuffies all neatly in bed, make them yummy snacks

🫐 learn about their allergies and the foods they just can't eat!!

🫐 reward them for their good behavior or if they try hard enough staying big during the day!

🫐 spend time outside, make sure to protect them from the weather everytime

🫐 talk to them about your interests they will love it!

🫐 stablish a healthy bedtime schedule

🫐 put your mental health as a priority, this shouldn't be a weight on your shoulders, listen to your needs

🫐 don't make them tell you things about their past or things that are traumatic, if they refuse just let it go, don't pressure them

🫐 always listen, it's more important than you think

also for caregivers of pet regressors:

🫐 get the food they like the most

🫐 give them treats snacks

🫐 teach them tricks!

🫐 take them out for a nice walk around the park if they like it!

and last but not least, enjoy yourself, allow yourself to slip into that caregiver headspace and have fun! even when it's a hard time it should still be something enjoyable to do for both you and your kiddo <3

let me know if you want me to add anything else to the list :D
