do you think you'd ever sell physical prints of your art? because honestly i would love to see your digimon and the persona 3 protagonists art physically. would definitely support you if you do ever decide to sell physical prints! oh so pretty!
not atm, though I've thought about making a digimon art book at some point in the future. I have been getting more and more questions about selling prints though, so while I have no immediate plans I'm definitely considering it~

I wanted to repaint this beautiful, prologue scene from "Tomorrow Will Be Dying"(a visual novel game in the works, by teamrobogames on Twitter) where you meet the character, B, in the rooftop. Except I changed it so that it's her older self, as if she's revisiting the roof from her high school days~ Something about this scene just stuck in my head, with the vibes and colors that I just had to paint. Also, I jump at any chance to paint clouds 😂 Just in time for @robo-nonagon bday too >:D🎉🎂❤️ Your art is incredible non, and I'm so excited for this game that you guys are making. It's gonna be amazing❤️❤️
If you haven't already, go give robo-non a follow and check out the game they're making with alwayspolite on Twitter!! Seriously, their work is beautiful, with huge Makoto Shinkai vibes❤️

helloo is it alright to ask what tablet or drawing tablet you use to draw with??
I use a huion gt-156hd v2 tablet!
I love how crisp and refreshing your art is! It’s like that first sip of cold water when you’re thirsty or a breath of fresh air in the wintertime. There’s something so nostalgic and comforting about it too! Do you have any tips on how you create your work? :)
waahhdsjgk what the heck this is so nice thank you!! I've shared some tips in other asks (this one on backgrounds and this one on character colouring), but in relation to what you've said, whenever I create a piece I ask myself: what feeling do I want to invoke in the person who looks at this? but that's also based on the happiness I feel while drawing the piece - I hope to transfer all the feelings I feel as the artist to the viewer!
when I look back upon all my artworks, I want to be able to think I've successfully captured the atmosphere I envisioned - sometimes heavy with emotion, and sometimes light-hearted and fun. since I draw fanart most of the time, I also try to capture the feeling of the original work while also adding my own flavour and taste to the piece. I always put an emphasis on lighting and colouring (choosing the colour palette is a huge step in achieving the feeling I want in a piece), but I hope to improve my composition with each work as well which is something I think I'm lacking in, particularly dynamic angling.
in some more technical senses, I always look toward the artists I aspire to be like and study their work. I often study the same artists, but I find it's important to always look for new inspirations in order to grow. for example, lately I've been wanting to detail the way I draw/colour characters more as I feel like I've neglected that aspect of my art and have focused more on backgrounds, so I studied different character artists that i like and tried applying their techniques to myself while also retaining my own style.
sorry this got long and rambly and I have no idea if this is helpful, but I wanted to try and dig into my mindset towards creating art. thank you again for the kind ask!!

TaiShiro manga panels
From the Tokyopop digimon manga
This manga took forever for me to find?? I ended up putting the entire thing into a google doc so I don't have to go look for it again.
I came across a post in my archive that I reblogged that mentioned the manga. I swear I nearly lost my mind trying to find it.
Anyway, enjoy the panels :)

your artwork is incredible, and gives me warm fluffy feelings. thank you so much for sharing.
aww thank you so much, that's the exact feeling I want to invoke with my art so that makes me extremely happy to hear!! 💗💕💕

what does the mouse eat? ⭐️ cheese!
Hi, sorry to bother you! I just wanted to say your art is so so beautiful, the colors are always so mesmerizing! If it's ok, could you possibly share some tips on how you pick colors//shade//anything else for your backgrounds in particular? Thanks a million, and have a nice day (❁ •͈ ꒡ •͈ )
aaaa thank you so much kind anon!! 😭 I take a lot of inspiration from makoto shinkai's movies, the mangaka kii kanna, and ghibli movies amongst many other things (nowadays I find myself being inspired by harusono shou's art a lot as well), but in general I always try to create very warm and comforting environments like them.
in order to achieve that I emphasize the lighting and liveliness of the environment a lot, which can be seen through these sketches of my digimon adventure 02 summer piece

the first sketch was made in 2020 and the updated second sketch was in 2022 - back in 2020 kii kanna was more of my main inspiration so I didn't apply the same techniques and colour palettes that I do now. while the colours in the original sketch aren't necessarily worse, in general my sense of lighting/rendering/shading was weaker. when compared side by side it's clear that I opt for a much stronger blue shade now with my shadows, and that's because I like the way it contrasts the brighter parts of the background and creates a peaceful yet somber mood if that makes sense. it's definitely a matter of preference in terms of the colours, but I think more importantly I learned that painting different textures + understanding lighting + shading are really important to make backgrounds look more fully realized.
I would go more in-depth but honestly I'm really bad at explaining things SDFJKG but I hope this was helpful in some shape or form!!
