I Think I Am Officially Fandom Old. I Am So Worn Out From The Arguments On Who's The Top Or The Bottom

I think I am officially Fandom Old. I am so worn out from the arguments on who's the top or the bottom (who cares), what is allowed to be written (anything you want, bejeebus), what is Problematic (I know, just tag it), what other people Should Do (they Should live their lives free of judgment). There isn't a Right Way to do things. Tag your stuff appropriately, don't read stuff you don't want to read, and leave other people (me) alone.

That hilarious moment when your new coworker/team member comes to hate your shared job as much as you do. Because now the both of you are having to do customer returns as well as what the material handlers/shipping and receiving people should be doing. (I.e., getting packages off the fucking dock, removing cardboard and bad product, moving processed product, etc.)

Other fun job happenings:

Being told the day before that I was to be there at 6 in the morning (a Saturday) and that I was expected to cancel all plans so I could be there. (Spoiler alert: I didn't. I told them, more politely and professionally, that they could essentially fuck off cause I could cancel my all-day long plans the day before).

Oh, and related to that, that my hours were now being changed to where Saturdays are now mandatory work days for me. Starting that next day. So now I only get Sunday's off (and we'll see how long that lasts).

I've been told I need to ramp up how many returns I need to do in a day (my coworker too, but since I'm the Lead, it's really directed at me to make it happen), but both me and my coworker are going as fast as we possibly can. You know, since they took away the one Material Handler that was helping us and we now are making multiple treks a day to do the jobs of like three other people.

I'm really beginning to understand Johnny Silverhand's hatred of corporations.
