Tech blinked his eyes open at the bottom of the ravine. Impossible— nearly. The fall was too long. His chances of survival were less than two percent. Even if he had, he certainly should not be free of pain. Perhaps he was in shock.

He raised a hand to adjust his goggles, and, to his surprise, found it pale blue and translucent. Fascinating.

“Yeah, it takes a little while to get used to.”

That voice… Echo?

No.

A reg, also blue and translucent, was perched on a boulder to his left, legs crossed, one foot dangling. His appearance did not differ much from standard, save for facial hair and a small tattoo on his right temple. It was too blurry to identify what it represented.

“My theory,” the apparition continued, “Was prolonged exposure to Jedi. You’re kinda throwing that off, though.”

Tech could do little more than blink. “Who are you?”

“Right, sorry,” the reg grinned, “Been following you guys around for so long I forget you don’t already know me.”

Tech squinted, looking more closely. Something began to stir in the back of his mind. Something Echo had shown him. That they’d spoken about at length

“The name’s Fives.”

Timothee having a nightmare during a thunderstorm and wakes up in a panic needing all the cuddles. 🥺 plz?

Thunder

The weather man on the radio said a severe storm was coming as you and Lee pulled into the state park that would be your home for the night. The wind was already picking up by the time you made your way to your campsite, so you both decided to sleep in the truck instead of the tent.

After a long day of traveling, the two of you were easily lulled to sleep by the gentle rain pattering on the windshield and the thunder that rumbled in the distance. Lee slept upright in the driver's seat, his curly red hair acting as a pillow against the window. Your position mirrored his on the passenger side, aside from your feet curled up in the seat.

A sudden clap of thunder shook the truck's windows and wrenched you from your slumber. You jerked upright as your heart raced and looked around to get your bearings. Beside you, you heard Lee's vocal panting. He was covered in a sheen of sweat, trembling and wide-eyed like a cornered animal. He turned his eyes toward you but remained unfocused as he tried to get away from some invisible phantom.

"Lee, love, look at me. Focus on me." You gripped his face between your hands and rubbed his cheeks with your thumbs.

"[Y/N]? Wha- where?" He blinked owlishly as he looked around.

"You are here with me in the truck. Where were you?" you replied softly, assuming the thunder pulled him from a nightmare.

"I was in the b-barn back home. M-my father w-was coming after me," Lee explained between rapid breaths.

You rested your forehead on his. "You're okay. He's gone. He can't hurt you anymore. Breathe with me, okay?" You took in a deep breath through your nose and let it out slowly through your mouth, exaggerating to encourage him to emulate you. He copied you and slowly calmed down.

"Thank you," he said sheepishly.

You kissed the tip of his nose. "Come here." You leaned back against the passenger door and opened your arms to invite him over. He shuffled over and laid against you as your legs and arms cocooned him in a safe embrace. You rested your cheek on the top of his head and held him like that until morning.

How timothée characters would propose!

Paul would probably plan an elaborate but private proposal - as much he loves to show you off, to bring you to parties and brag about his partners, he does like to keep his vulnerable side hidden from most people, so i think he would want to propose with no prying eyes. he would give you some long, cheesy speech and buy you the finest ring possible.

Laurie takes you to the beach, and treats you to a beautiful evening of food and wine, swimming, and then proposes to you by putting the ring in an oyster and telling you to look for the pearl. when you pull out a ring instead, he just grins like a fool and pops the question. he definitely cries when you say yes and just hugs you for what feels like an hour straight.

Lee just asks if you want to marry him one day, like it's a totally casual and normal thing to ask out of nowhere. if you say yes, then he'll go get the ring and ask you officially this time, probably in a nice secluded place in the woods.

Zeffirelli does it similarly to lee - just super casual. he strikes me as a "go down to the courthouse and sign the papers" kinda guy when it comes to marriage. if he knows you want something more romantic, though, he'd do his best to plan some kind of dinner to pop the question.

King hal is a classic romantic guy, he's gonna take you out to dinner and pop the question on a nice nighttime walk, and give you a whole sappy speech that makes you cry. he is just so genuine and charming about the whole thing.

Elio is gonna be super nervous to pop the question, and probably overplan a whole fancy night only to end up asking you before his plan starts because you look so good in the outfit he picked out for you that he just blurts it out.

I would love a full movie of Edgar Scissorhands. I loved Edward Scissorhands as a kid.
