Miss you too, despite seeing you consistently.

However I don't think anything rivals how much Dante missed everyone during the 15 years in the Irene Dimension.

Kanna, probably. She’s just… often wrapped up in her imagination, baking, and dolls, and often misses big things happening around her.

Which is odd considering she has been involved with it. It’s kind of like… like the negative things just don’t stick….

Anyway-

Aphria, Traivis, and Laurance have all eaten rat, but only Aphria will do so again without much thought. This horrifies Garroth and Katelyn both.

What if I made Laurance significantly deadlier in Marigold?? What if he takes more lives?? I probably won’t do this, but I was listening to music and letting it affect my brainrot. And I came to the idea of Laurance being referred to as “Lady Aphria’s Bloodhound” or something along those lines because he will hunt and maim her enemies on command, no hesitation. Again, probably won’t do this but it’s fun making my favorites more unhinged than necessary.

Listen-

In MS(and that thing I'll eventually do for that-) Laurance can cook. This does not change the fact that in MCD: Marigold he can't.

And I have an explanation.

In MS, Laurance grew up able to learn these things. He had the time and a home to do so in. He’s able to focus on what tastes good and what he enjoys. He didn't have these things for a long time in MCD. He grew up eating anything, with no family or friends to look after him before Cadenza and Hayden, not counting Ungrth who had no idea what humans should or should not consume. Much like Aphria, Laurance would eat anything. He sucks at cooking because he’s never made full meals before. He's made something edible that would get him through the day without starving. His food tastes awful because that's never something he considers. He considers what will help everyone function longest.
