Going to school was never easy. Waking up early, walking to school, staying there for what felt like YEARS, only to go back home and repeat the cycle again. What made it worse, was that last night, it snowed. The first snow of the month. Temperatures were beginning to go down, and walking was going to be a nightmare.

Moving around in your two room apartment wasn’t easy. You were careful to not make any noise, to not wake him up. Waking him up will only make this Monday harder than it should be.

“Crap. My snow boots!” You thought. Looking towards you room, and the closed room next to it. Taking a deep breath, you walked to your room as quiet as you could.

Thankfully you knew where your snow boots were located, you opened your closet and internally groaned. You didn’t expect (or forgot) that they were on the top corner of your closet. You were going to have to try your best to reach for them, without dropping them. A hard task, but one you were going to have to try.

With a silent “I got this” you outstretched your arm, and with the tip of your fingers, you slowly began to move the first boot towards you. You would catch it mid air, and hopefully not make any- aaand you missed.

The loud sound of the thick snow boot hit hard on your wooden floor. There was no way that noise went unheard.

You closed your eyes shut, staying still as if that would help in any way.

“.....”

Nothing.

Seems like he didn’t wake up.

You let out a sigh of relief, and just as you were reaching for the second boot, you heard a click of the other room opening.

“____?”

A croaky, yet gentle voice of a young man was heard.

You slowly turned around to see who you had woken up.

Jimin.

Your dwarf hamster hybrid.

His light brown hair was all over the place, that it completely hid his small ears. Fluffy and soft looking, to compliment his soft and delicate features. Porcelain like skin, with no imperfections, and rosy pink lips that looked fuller than usual. His chocolate brown eyes barely open, due to just waking up, yet you could still get lost in them. Jimin had very beautiful eyes.

Rubbing his left eye, the sleepy hybrid eyed you up and down. Seeing you all dressed up had him waking up faster.

His sleepy expression suddenly turning sad. Lips slightly pouting, before turning them into a frown. A look of hurt was what he was giving you now.

“You’re leaving again?” He asked. Sounding heartbroken, and so fragile.

“Chimchim...” you said. Using one of the many nicknames you have for him. You approached him and cupped his chubby cheeks. Those squishy and soft cheeks you love to poke or gently squish.

“I told you that I have to go to school. I’ll be back in the afternoon.” You said. Smiling in hope that that would help cheer him up.

He let out a hum, and raised his hands to hold your wrists. Making sure you keep cupping his face. He always seemed to love your gentle touches.

“Do you have to?” He asked. Looking directly at you. His brown eyes now looking a bit glassy.

“I promise I’ll be back in the afternoon. I always come back in the afternoon, remember?” You reminded him of your schedule again. Ever since you adopted him, and before you went back to school, you had reminded him that your clases always end at 3 or so.

You were a Senior Highschool student, that was preparing for finals. You’ve been getting busier day by day, yet you’ve always made it on time.

Jimin nodded. Of course he knows. He just doesn’t want you to leave. He misses you so much. The moment you walk out of that door, there’s this fear of you never coming back. That you’ll abandon him like his last owner. He doesn’t want that. Not when he’s loved you since day one.

“I’ll be back soon. Besides, you sleep throughout most of the day!” You teased. Trying to cheer up the situation. Though you weren’t wrong. As a hamster hybrid, Jimin was more active at night than in the day. He’s more slow, and is usually asleep while you’re up and about. In the four months he’s lived here with you, he’s been slowly trying to grow accustomed to your schedule.

He sometimes succeeds, and sometimes fails.

“It’s not the same without you here. You think it’s easy, but it’s not. I sleep better when you don’t leave.” He huffed. Finally showing a bit of his stubbornness that he was too shy about before. He’s slowly becoming more confident in being himself with you, which you don’t mind at all. You’ve taken a liking to his sassy remarks, his stubborn attitude at times, and even his sudden rants when watching a show together.

“Jimin, look at me.” You said, holding back on laughing. You seriously found it amusing when he got like this.

“I promise I’ll be back. Can you promise me you’ll be good, and wait for me?”

“...” he averted his eyes, from yours. His action reminding you of a kid pretending to be mad, when they couldn’t get their way.

“Chimchim?” You ask again.

“I...I promise.” He finally said. Looking down at his fluffy yellow pajama pants. He loved soft and fluffy things, they always calmed him down.

Your relationship is built on these little promises. Both fulfilling them without fail.

Jimin dropped his shoulders in defeat, and let you get ready to head of to school.

Of course, he still didn’t leave your side as you went back to the kitchen.

He helped you get your backpack, and double checked if you had packed your lunch.

“Alright! I’m ready to go!” You said, fist bumping the air, hyping yourself up for the cold walk that awaits you.

“Are you not going to be cold?” Jimin asked.

“Nah, I’ll be fine!” You said, giving him a cheeky smile. You felt yourself momentarily breathless when he smiled back. Jimin’s smiles were sweet, and filled with so much adoration. It made you blush at how he didn’t hide the fact that he cared for you very deeply. You weren’t just his owner, you were his best friend. His companion. His home.

“Have a good day at school. You’ll do great, like always.” He said. His hand reaching up to pat your head, like an older brother would. The action making your cheeks grow warm.

“Mhm.” You nodded. Unable to form words at the moment.

You slowly backed away to open the door.

“Alright, I-I’m off!” You said.

“Okay.” Jimin chuckled, waving a bit before you closed the door.

Both of you let out a sigh.

Today was another day.

I just wanna talk about Anime!

1. Naruto

After watching Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, and episodes here and there of Baruto, I just wanted to express my feelings towards this anime.

Some things to note before I start :

Opinions vary for everyone. When it comes to Anime, I feel like many are already drawing out their weapons, the moment someone says “Well I think ( insert any anime) is…” So please! Let’s be respectful! Let’s not be rude! Sharing your personal opinion and thoughts is perfectly fine, but let’s not insult others for their opinions, if they differ from ours!

I might curse a bit here and there. If you’re uncomfortable with that…uh…just imagine hearing a loud BEEEP, whenever you read it.

I finished watching all of the Naruto series! So! SPOILERS! WILL! BE! AHEAD!

What was Naruto to me before?

So, I’ve been watching anime since 2006. And even if Naruto never caught my interest at the time, I still knew about the Ninja Anime. Naruto in the Anime community, was and still is, very much considered an Anime classic. And little me at the time, was like “Eh. Sure”. I respected it, but never really bothered to look too much into it. One of the main reasons I had no interest in Naruto, was because of like…three reasons.

I was DEEP into Shojo Anime/ Manga. If it didn’t look cute and girly, I wouldn’t watch it. ( Ugh, I know! I’m sorry, and I have changed my ways! I’ve grown up! (T＿T) )

“ Why watch this long anime…when I can watch over 5 others? ” To younger me, it was about watching the most anime. Quantity is what mattered! Not stay stuck with just one, for what felt like decades.

The more I was told “ OMG! You should watch Naruto! ” the more I was set on NOT watching it. ( Idk what’s wrong with me（・□・；） )

So what changed my mind?

This might sound cliche, to the point where you will roll your eyes all the way to Asia, but the answer to that is…

✨ Friendship ✨

A bestie of mine just started to one day tell me, and tell me, and tell me, and tell me, and tell me about Naruto. Until I finally texted her :

Since I have nothing better to do, on Tuesday, I…GUESS I can watch some episodes with you.

And that was the beginning of…a long…LONG journey.

So what happened? How did I go from “ I’m just gonna watch some episodes TODAY. See what the hype is all about. ” to “It’s New Years, and I’m about to finish Naruto…idk how to feel about this. I don’t want it to end…”

I’ll tell you what happened!

The world of the Ninjas

From the cool hand signs, to the many types of clans, I found myself amazed ( and a little slow to process it all ) by all of the depth that this world has. I really found the hand signs fun, and can see why so many Naruto Fans know them by heart. ( It’s so cool!!!! ) I really like the design of Konoha, and while 99% of the population were a bunch of ASSHOLES to little Naruto, Konoha is still cool.

Once we were introduced to the other villages, I’m gonna be honest, I really like The Land Of Lightning. The village hidden in the clouds, is SO cool to me! I love it!

But we also know why we stay for an Anime. And that’s it’s characters. Let’s get to the good stuff, okay? (ﾉ≧∀≦)ﾉ

Characters that made me stay

- Kakashi Hatake -

Okay, okay. Let’s just get it out of the way here, guys.

Kakashi is hot.

Yeah. Yeah, you heard me. You’re probably rolling your eyes, or saying “of course” either in your head, or out loud. But it’s true, and now that I’ve said it, let’s move on. I’ll fangirl about him another day.

He’s proof that you could have the shittiest life, been in the darkest place within yourself, and still grow to be a good person. Because that’s what he did. He was so broken, and empty. Yet he managed to find meaning to life. Showing and teaching others on how to improve themselves. He became the Sensei of some of the strongest ninjas of the Leaf Village.

Okay but seriously. The man lost his dad to suicide, and his mom is gone…idk what happened to his mom. Does anyone know? He lost his friends. Obito died in front of his eyes, causing some major trauma. Karin died by his own hands ( even though he had no fault on that ) but yet, guess what? MORE TRAUMA! He then lost his Sensei, and himself. His past was just so sad…and then he had to fight Obito after thinking he was deeeaad!?😭

He was not only a Sensei to Team 7. He was a FATHER figure, and no one can change my mind. While he could have checked up on Naruto before ( knowing that Naruto is Minato’s son, and that everyone in the village hated Naruto with a PASSION ) , he soon took it upon himself to care for Naruto. Bringing him vegetables, feeding him when he was hurt, teaching him about himself, and what it is to be a Ninja. Teaching him life lessons, and how to overcome them. He also believed in Naruto’s dream of becoming Hokage. Believed in HIM. With Sakura, while I didn’t see that much, cause Tsunade later on took Sakura under her wing, I know he cared for her too. He was there to comfort her, whenever Naruto and Sasuke had another one of their fights. He was thankful that at-least she wasn’t the one causing trouble. When it comes to Sasuke, I’ve seen some comments here and there, that Sasuke was Kakashi’s favorite student, but I honestly don’t really agree. Sasuke is clearly a student ahead of everyone else. He can’t be taught like the others! It’s just the truth. And who else would teach Sasuke about his Sharingan, if his whole clan was wiped out??? At least Kakashi had ONE! Surely he could teach him something! He was the only one!

- Rock Lee -

Surprise? Not surprise? At first I didn’t think people liked Lee, but my friend told me that he’s actually a quite popular character. That made me very happy!💚 (*＾ワ＾*)

Apparently, and correct me if I’m wrong, but apparently Lee was designed to symbolize human strength. And there is so much in that. Lee is a Ninja that cannot do Ninjutsu, nor Genjutsu. The only thing he can do, is Taijutsu. And boy, does he hold on to that. I am a SUCKER, for characters like him. The whole “I may not have what everyone else has, but I can still prove myself”. It makes him feel more human, and for me (personally) more relatable. Knowing that you lack, compared to everyone else, and holding on to what you’re somewhat good at. Going above and beyond to continue to keep that special to you, and working nonstop to be the best at it, cause that’s the only thing you think you have a grasp on- ugh! I’ll stop before I start crying. I just relate to that, and find him a very inspirational character. I love him, he’s like my son.

I also like his rivalries were mainly healthy. He never really hated on his rivals. In fact, he was friends with all of them! With Naruto? They comrades. With Neji? Sure, their relationship was a bit bumpy at first, but they eventually came to respect each other, as they grew up. Shira? They became BFFLS! Had me in tears! 😭 And don’t even get me started with Gaara! Even after all…THAT ( amazing fight by the way ) the two ended up being the best of friends! Like- would you be friends with the person who not only broke your arm and leg, but had you go through a risky operation, having you question your existence, and tried to kill you when you were asleep? Naaaaah! Nah! Lee is an Angel!

Oh! I also watched the Lee Spin Off series! Pure. Perfection. Highly recommend. My favorite parts, are when we get to see Lee just create random scenarios, and drags everyone around him into them. 😂

- Obito Uchiha -

Guys.

This boy…

My god.

There was no rest for him, ever since he was born.

I like to have this thought that everyone has their Uchiha. Many choose Sasuke, Itachi, Madara, Shisui, etc. For me, it’s him. Obito Uchiha. I find it hilarious, and again- SPOILER ALERT that when we were introduced to TOBI, I loved him so much. When he said he was “Madara” I was in disbelief, but very much enjoying the supposed twist. But then- surprise! It’s Obito! I was having the time of my life. I was an Obito fan, without even knowing it. He’s my favorite Uchiha, even though…yeah…yeah he did a bit of big oopsies.

I enjoyed seeing who he was, before life decided to be a bitch to him. Helping the elderly, his rivalry with Kakashi, his wish of also being Hokage, and being a bit of a softie (which I found endearing ). He lost all of himself, and like many comments I’ve seen “He was the Naruto that gave up”. And I see that. And it saddens me every time. To see that man, if Naruto would have given up…this could have been him. When Obito was ready to die, I was actually understanding of it. Unlike prior deaths in Naruto, with Obito’s death, I…accepted it. I understood why he preferred to die. He did too much harm, that he couldn’t possibly see himself being anywhere. He was going to die, while bringing the others back to life. But…that didn’t end up happening, and he was given some more time. Just seeing the contrast of who he was before, and who he currently was, was very bitter. Him pushing his old self away, and just being blinded by so much hatred and sadness.

Man, I just really his character. I like what he represents, and how without knowing, he in some way, influenced Kakashi, and Naruto. I also really like his design with the goggles, and all. So cute! (*＾ワ＾*)

The Fights That Had Me SCREAMING

They’re Ninjas! Of course they’re gonna fight! Good action, good execution, good choreography- Naruto Fights are one of a kind, and I always found myself at the edge of my seat with them.

Rock Lee Versus Gaara of the Sand.

THE LEE VERSUS GAARA FIGHT. Okay okay I won’t comment much about this fight-just go watch it. PLEASE! No amount of words can describe this fight! Not only do we see Lee UNLEASHED, but the animation, the music, the moves, EVERYTHING. It’s so iconic, and at the time, I bet it had the world in awe. My boi Leeeee!!!😭

Obito Uchiha Versus Kakashi Hatake

This frikin fight hurt me guys. While it’s so badass, and nicely animated, the addition of the past them and present them fighting HIT. HARD. Again, that moment when Obito pushes his old self back, is so painful to watch. It has my heart shattering into pieces every time I see it. There’s this part, that I’m obsessed with.

THIS! Idk why! I just find myself repeating that part, over and over. Is it just me!?

Madara Uchiha Versus The Shinobi Alliance

Yeah, Yeah this isn’t surprising…BUT YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND WHY! YOU MUST! All that hype that Madara kept getting, was about to be proved with this moment! And MY GOD!!!! The tension, the raw screaming of the Ninjas running towards him, knowing of who he was. And Madara just nonchalantly killing everyone he laid his eyes on! Did you see his eyes!? The immediate read! I- The METEOR-No- THE TWO METEORS. You cannot top this. This introduction to Madara Uchiha, will be forever engraved in my brain. Loved it. Just seeing the Meteor slowly falling, and seeing the scale of it. Everyone running-OH! And how Flying Grandpa (The Tsuchikage) and Gaara stopped it- had me jumping on the couch. Amazing, simply amazing. GO WATCH IT. Cause my rambling on it, does it no justice!!! 😭😭😭

Okay listen, one thing we can all agree on, when it comes to Anime, is that Anime Intros, and Outros, are a BIG part of it all. Especially the Intros. If Intro isn’t good, would you still watch this anime? What makes a good Intro song? Is it the animation? The lyrics? The artist? All of these come in to play, to create a masterpiece. An aid for an anime.

Naruto, has a lot of intros. BUT MY GOD- does it have triple the outros.

Far Away -Asian Kung Fu Generation

So before even watching Naruto, I came upon this song on Spotify. And there was just something about this song, that hit. I am a big fan of Japanese Rock ( J-Rock ) , and Asian Kung Fu Generation brought it all out with this song.

I feel like it really catches the aesthetic, and the overall vibe of the Original Naruto Series. Hype, full of energy, and hypes you up for the new episode. I really love it, and even if I didn’t watch Naruto back in the day, hearing this, causes me major nostalgia. A mystery, I know.

Wind and Waves Satellite - Snowkel

( Seventh OG Intro )

It’s the start that does it for me. Seeing everyone get ready to leave on their next adventure, fills me with some type of emotion. I don’t know how to describe it. I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s nostalgia, but it fills me with this kind of sad/good feeling in my chest? Something like that. It’s great!

Blue Bird - Ikimono Gakari

( Third Shippuden Intro )

Perhaps one of the top favorite songs out there, in the Shippuden Intro List. And I can see why. Or well- HEAR why.

It’s a bop. The vocals, the instrumental, oh-THe HARMONICA! That person goes OFF! 👏🏼

Diver - Nico Touches The Walls

( Eight Shippuden Intro )

At first, I didn’t really feel much for this song. It was alright…UNTIL IT WASN’T.

I found myself sudden listening to it, back and forth, and…I love it now? Yeah, it just happened, I don’t know how.

What I love about this one, isn’t only the song. But the animation of it. What we see, is Naruto falling, and simply sinking down deep and deeper into the water. This obviously referring to his current depressive state. He’s lost, and is beginning to give up. Then, one by one, the hands of all of the friends he’s made along the way, slowly but surely push him up. Naruto is finally out of the water, and when he looks down, he sees that Sasuke is also sinking, similar to how he was before. Seeing that he has no one, Naruto prepares himself to dive down for him. Remembering his goal again. Save Sasuke from the dark path he’s chosen, and bring him back to the village.

It’s beautiful really.

Lovers - 7!! Seven Oops

( Ninth Shippuden Intro )

I didn’t know how to feel for this song. But after a while, I started bopping my head to it- and then poof! Loved it. It’s good!

I like the part where there’s that explosion behind Killer Bee, and that glimpse of Sasuke’s smile. That unsettling smile, letting us know that he’s waaaay gone. It gave me goosebumps the first moment I saw it.

Silhouette - Kana-Boon

( 16th Shippuden opening )

I’ll admit, I knew about Kana-Boon before listening to Silhouette. I love this band, with my life.

It’s such a good song! Great! A masterpiece! That’s right! And it left its mark on Shippuden, as it SHOULD have!

It’s just so good guys. Highly recommend! ❤️

It’s one of the cutest stories out there, that is told. Just the beginning of little Naruto’s love for Ichiraku Ramen. Watching him grow, and just how many people go in and out…it’s so cute and made me teary eyed.

I mainly liked it because of the story telling-but it’s also a cute song!

BTS in…Soul Eater! Pt. 2

Kim Taehyung - Weapon - Flail

With that cute face of his, he’s a Meister’s favorite. Though the same can’t be said from him, personally. Something is always missing. He’s always feeling an okay soul connection with the Meister’s that have asked to fight along with him, but it’s just that. It’s “Okay”. He doesn’t mind being this way, but when he caught a glimpse of Namjoon and Yoongi’s teamwork, he was enamored. Enamored by the way they were in sync, and never doubted one another. Not only their souls were perfectly connected, but their friendship just seemed so close. Admirable, and that’s when Taehyung’s desire to find the right Meister started. He didn’t expect for his senior Hoseok to pop out of nowhere, and approach him, though. Of course he knew Hoseok, and how he too, also jumped from weapon to weapon. Both were sort of the same in that way. Maybe that’s why the two felt…something peculiar about their souls when they partnered up. Both freezing for a moment. After that day, Taehyung started to search for Hoseok, and vise versa. Not knowing that in the near future, both would be considered one of the top Meister and Weapon in the academy.

Cute short fact :

While being with Hoseok was cool and all. Taehyung is also seen being quite close to another weapon, Park Jimin. The intimidating Ring Sword, who no one expected to have such a good friend like Taehyung. Both pushing eachother more, and bringing out hidden sides of them, that not everyone has seen. Jimin, helps Taehyung be more confident with himself. Taehyung once said that if Jimin were to have been a Meister, he would have settled with him.

Jeon Jungkook - Meister

He’s a hidden treasure, that will soon be found. By who?

You guessed it.

Kim Namjoon.

The young boy became amazed by Kim Namjoon’s abilities with his weapon, and he has been following his footsteps since.

Studying to the best of his abilities, and learning about witches, and weapons until he passed out. His one and only problem with all of this, is that he was very-VERY shy. A stuttering mess, when he was near girl weapons. He quickly figured that it would be easier to just find a guy friend. But who?

Cue, Park Jimin. He was simply walking around the hallways, and poor Jungkook thought his life would come to an end when he bumped into him. To his surprise, not only was the cool weapon friendly, but both quickly became good friends. They’re both from Busan! Once the two spent enough time together, it was Jimin who actually asked first, to be Jungkook’s weapon. The young boy’s eyes sparkling with excitement, as he was quick to accept.

Cute short fact :

Jungkook was once assigned to accompany Namjoon and Yoongi to get rid of an evil monster, who was frightening and attacking humans, in Gangnam. That was perhaps the best day of Jungkook’s life. Because not only was HE the one to take that thing down, but Namjoon acknowledged him, and patted his back. Jimin rolled his eyes, while Jungkook kept gushing about how Namjoon spoke to him. All the way home, the boy couldn’t stop smiling. Today was a success, and he got Namjoon to notice him!

Kim Seokjin - Meister/Weapon - Gun

Hold on…is that a thing? Can a Meister be a Weapon? No no…can a Weapon be it’s own Meister? Anyone would normally answer “no” there’s no way, right? Meisters and Weapons exist yes, but they are both different individuals who work together to form a duo.

Well, this certainly wouldn’t be the first time that this is heard about. A Weapon being it’s own Meister…

Kim Seokjin just happened to be the only one of his class, to ever achieve this.

How? Why?

Because he’s Kim Seokjin.

Not only is he respected because of his looks, and charming charisma. But because of his ability to take on missions on his own, and doing it well. Expect perfection from this boy.

Cute Short Fact :

He’s been in many missions with the other boys, and has become like a brother/teacher to them all. From teaching the Meisters, to the Weapons. He’s a big help to them all, and oooohhh they are the best of friends. When there are no missions, they all go and hang out and eat. It’s lovely. He had been used to working on his own, but is now more than happy to accompany any of his brothers, or have them join him.

He’s not that interested in catching Witches nor Souls as much as the others are, but he’s been constantly pushed to. Oh well.

I have like, this cute idea of where there are 4 kingdoms. One is the Sweet Kingdom, Sour Kingdom, and Spicy Kingdom. All having their respective Kings, Queens, and lovely Princes. (I’ll probably think of more to add to this, but for now this is it).

We then have MC, who is Bland! Princess. One who will marry one of the four Princes.

There isn’t exactly like this huge plot I have in mind. But it’s still this small world I sometimes think about.

Dulcet

We have Park Jimin here. He’s the Prince of the Sweet Kingdom. He’s a pretty prince with pink cotton Candy hair. His cheeks are squishy like marshmallows, and has pretty milk chocolate eyes. His lips are as pink as a strawberry lollipop. His hugs...man, his hugs are soft like sponge cake, and an actual treat because he smells sweet like vanilla and whipped cream. Too sweet you can even taste it.

He’s gentle, and ever so loving. He’s quite shy, and has this pretty voice that MC quickly finds herself in love with.

He’s sometimes called Prince Mochi, while other times he’s Prince Marshmallow. He doesn’t mind, both nicknames makes his cheeks turn pink. Compliments make him all blushy, and have this sheepish smile for hours.

Picante

Ah yes, Jeon Jungkook is the prince of the Spicy Kingdom. He was born with a more raspberry color of red hair, leading to some teasing. He would have preferred it to be bright red like his brother, or dark red like his father’s. It’s said his lips are warm to the touch, and so is his embrace.

He enjoys to be outside. He’s wild in the sense that he is a fast runner, and quite athletic. Unlike Prince Marsh ( Jimin ) Jungkook isn’t so afraid to get dirty or climb trees. He also has like, the cutest smile. He’s hella strong, I’ll tell you that. But you probably knew that already.

He hides from MC for a while. He’s like some shy kid meeting new people, he once even hid behind his father when meeting her. Too shy to even glance her way. He would freeze up, and hide. His face all hot when she first complimented his hair. Something he was kind of self conscious about.

He warms up to her eventually though, and she finds him charming as the days go by.

Azedo

Did someone say sour? Is Kim Taehyung really the prince of the Sour Kingdom? You would have thought he was a mint chocolate prince from the sweet kingdom. But no! He is the son of the Sour king and queen. His hair isn’t as green as the sour limes that are always present in the kingdom. Nor yellow like the lemon that decorates the tea of the cup that he hands you.

You weren’t surprised to see him be so friendly to every other prince. Though you noticed that he and Prince Jimin have this tight friendship. One that is sweet and sour, one of the most delicious pair out there.

He has pretty pastel green hair, and is so bubbly. He’s immediately lovable. Like the taste of sour, hits instantly on the taste buds, so does his presence after meeting him. The thought of him is like when you think of a sour candy. Mouth watering, not because he’s...cute 👀 but because just thinking about him leads to never ending dreams.

Anyways! He’s a charmer. Always had the most strangest questions, and is simply so fun to be around. He’s also one of the easiest ones to befriend.

When a son is born 🌸

When a son is born, normal life stops for the family.

There are rules that they must follow now. Rules that have been long known, for when a son is born.

He is to leave this place, and live where a flower has to go.

The Gardens.

Flora is a wealthy country. Leading it to having many beautiful and well built buildings. It has a total of 6 palaces. 5 palaces known and called “Gardens” or “Green House” either is fine.

Here, the boys must stay and live the rest of their lives. All Florian men will call The Garden, their home. They will forget about their family, and have a new one. Flowers like them.

The process goes like this

🌸 The life of a Flower 🌸

When a son is born, he may live with his family up until he turns 5. That is the law, that most people use, though there are those rare cases where children are brought to The Garden’s at a younger age. (We’ll follow the normal life of a Flower Boy.)

At the age of 5, the son will be taken by his mother. She will be one of the last women the boy will see. They will embark on a journey to the closest Garden of the 6 in Flora.

There is the The Stem, Stamen, Sepal, Leaf, and Petal Gardens. Palaces that are only filled with men.

The mother will be granted access to the town near the The Garden chosen, and there, she will live with her son for one year.

Meanwhile, he son will be taught and slowly be separated from his mother. Female Teachers will take him under their wings, and the boy will now begin the first step of his journey alone. His journey to become a Flower. A male geisha.

There are also 5 steps to becoming a flower. Germination, seed, sprout, bud, and last, a celebration known as The Blooming Ceremony, followed by The Flower. (These two go together so it’s 5).

At the age of 5, boys go through the Germination stage. They are slowly taught about their new life ahead of them, and are to leave their family.

Germination stage lasts for approximately 2 years. One year, the boy will be in contact with his mother, and the other will be alone.

Next, is the Seed stage. Like primary school, but a bit longer. This is where the boy will be assigned to a home classroom, and will meet his new brothers. All boys in the classroom will grow and learn together.

Seed stage lasts 8 years. The boy will be taught more about his purpose, and will form bonds with his brothers. All preparing for their life goal. Becoming Flowers.

The boys are called “Seeds” and once they finish the Seed stage, they will go through a two day celebration.

In those two days, the boys will go through a sort of graduation. Their teachers will paint their faces with a freckle like pattern, symbolizing the seeds. Their brown shoes, that also have seed patterns will be changed into new green ones. Their attire will change from brown shades that symbolized the soil, to green that signifies the start of the growing life.

While the first day was more fun and loud, the second day is the opposite. Quiet, and respectful.

The boys will meet with the Elder of The Garden, and will pick a seed from the pot of soil.

It’s magical.

Yes, there is magic in Flora. Mother Nature’s magic still seems to be present. Though it is only rumored to be within The Gardens. (We’ll get more into that later)

The boy will pick the seed from the old looking pot, and that seed will now become his soul. His life, along with that seed, are now one.

The boy must care for that seed, until he reaches the last stage of his journey. For now, he will graduate and become a Sprout.

The Sprout Phase is next. Being of 5 years.

This is where the Sprouts will be introduced into Talents. Every Flower must have atleast 2 talents.

Talents like dance, paint, story telling, banquet manners, speaking skills, singing, gardening, sewing, poetry, martial arts, cooking, nursing, archery...basically an entertainer.

They must be fully prepared for when they become official Flower boys.

Becoming a Sprout, also means you can become a sort of helper for an actual Flower Boy. From accompanying him, to learning from him, a Sprout can even be somewhat adopted by a Flower Boy.

Flower Boy, in other words, is a Male Geisha.

They are perfection, and have this aura about them that just lets you know who they are.

But anyways! Sprouts must still be caring for their plants, who are also growing like they are. Again, the seed and the man are one now.

Being a Sprout is also one of the most crucial stages of the Male Geisha life.

If sprouts fail to care for the seed, then they have proven to not want to be geishas.

The seeds are connected to the sprouts soul, and if it dies, then that means something isn’t right.

If this happens...they can choose to become a worker within The Gardens.

They can become soldiers, guardians, or start a business of their own, but must stay in The Garden.

They can become teachers or any other career, but again, must stay in the area.

The Bud Phase, is the shortest of the stages. It is of one year, and it’s mainly just all about studying. Studying and practicing for the ultimate Blooming Ceremony.

Unlike a Sprout, who is identified by their green clothing, Buds receive just black clothing. Once they bloom, they can be seen with their assigned color.

This leads to the Blooming Ceremony.

The Blooming Ceremony is also seen as a rebirth. The Ceremony lasts 7 days, where the Bud will bring his pot, present it to The Elder, and the Blooming will happen.

When the flower blooms, no one is sure what it will present as. It’s all a surprise into the very end. Whatever the flower is, the Bud will be known as the flower’s name.

For example. If a Red Rose blooms, that man will be known as Red Rose. His second name.

Once the blooming is over, the newly presented Flower will not be seen for 7 days.

They must remain in an isolated room, where they will hand sow their new assigned clothing.

They may sow patterns that symbolize their flower, or any colorful pattern that they believe speaks to them. Their Kimono will have everything there is about them.

Once the 7th day is over, on the 8th day they will be welcomed by everyone in The Garden. After this, further studying will continue, until any wealthy family wishes to meet them.

That is the life of a boy in Flora. A Flower Boy.
