List of things I will never do after watching Criminal Minds:

1. Go through a corn field. Clearly, bad things happen in cornfields.

2. Sneak out of the house. A bad idea generally, but according to Criminal Minds, you will be kidnapped and/or become an orphan.

3. Be a bully. Again, a bad idea anyways because morals, but also because a serial killer will probably come kill me.

4. Be an abusive parent. Again, see above, morals prevent that anyways, but my children would then be kidnapped by a serial abductor who thinks they’re saving them.

5. Live a “high risk lifestyle”. Criminal Minds has far too many sex workers being killed and they always blame it on the “high risk lifestyle”. I don’t think it’s their fault but the law of capitalism and misogyny says it is.

6. Develop a relationship with someone over the phone or through online communication. They will end up being a Lonely Hearts Killer and I will die painfully.

7. Break off an engagement via infidelity. I’m very anti-infidelity anyways but my ex would start murdering women who look like me as surrogates until eventually he kills me. Yikes.
