I printed the new music zine today! I just got back from work so I’ll take some photos tomorrow morning in the sunlight. I forgot to post this for so long! These are pictures from a little manuscript book I made my pal Nam last year. It was based on a twitter conversation about my trip to a chocolate shop. I wanted to make it as nice as possible (since I had... er... forgotten to get her a present for her birthday AND Christmas) so I painted the pictures onto heavy card pages, hand-lettered the text in my best rounded gothic, and bound it all up into a hardback book. I forgot to take a photo of the finished item though.

If you're curious, the Tale of the Chocolate Shop runs thusly:

Once upon a Time, Sarah went to the Chocolate Shop. Sarah was going to be a Good Girl, and not buy any Chocolate. But then she bought some anyway.

The book was only 3 pages long.

I imagine most of my friends can relate to this, I can!

We'll have issues of What's the Time, Mrs Woolf? notebooks, comics, mini-zines and mini-comics, stickers and sundry other trinkets, and most importantly a new anthology! It is GOTH THEMED. I am so excited.

Finally! This is one of the things I've been working on, a new free mini-comic to give out at conventions. As well as being super-cute business card substitutes, I find these are really useful for getting a handle on the characters and environments for longer comics.

I meant to hide an ace poster in this one like Sammy does, but I ran out of time before I wanted to get it printed. Oh well, next time.

Hey hey followers! I want to open commissions soon, but I realised I have no recent pictures I'm happy using as examples. While I'm working on some examples anyway, does anyone have any requests? I'm doing sketches, ink and colour, and I need a couple in ACEO and bookmark size as well, so if there's anything you particularly want me to draw, now is the time to ask!
