Well, that was pretty fun drawing this idea about Samara taking a selfie in Seto Kaiba's airship. Just having a little reminder of her travel to the past.... But she didn't realize that she had someone behind her.
And here Malik, approaching her out of curiosity, shows a rather confused expression, not understanding what Samara is doing. 🤭

~Summary Background~
Samara and her family lived in Crash Town. Until they finally managed to move to Neo Domino to live quietly and to achieve their goals.
She had been at the events of the WRGP Tournament, cheering on the Team 5D's, along with her friends. They really wanted to participate there, but did not reach their time, due to lack of training.
At that time, Samara was in a relationship with Crow Hogan, until they broke up when he decided to leave the city.

To make some sense of the empty space that was left in my drawing, I added the first part of the song What I Believe, by Skillet, which is also the theme that represents them.
Knowing what the song means, it fits them very well. Especially from Malik's point of view, who by meeting Samara shows that he feels comfortable and confident being with her and might even risk his life to save her.
