Yoohankim Lyrics That Scratches My Brain Just Right
Yoohankim lyrics that scratches my brain just right
Home by Cavetown
Get a load of this train wreck His hair's a mess and he doesn't know who he is yet But little do we know, the stars Welcome him with open arms Oh
Time is Slowly Tracing his face But strangely he feels at home in this place
-Kim Dokja
Him during the later part of the story works so well with these words. His deteriorating sense of self, the train wreck ifykyk, being loved by others, being loved by stars (literally), and finding his found family dynamic with others becoming a home for him.
Never Love an Anchor by Crane Wives
I am selfish, I am broken, I am cruel I am all the things they might have said to you Do you ever think of me and my two hands? And wonder why they never soothed your fevers? And wonder why they never tied your shoes? And wonder why they never held you gently? And wonder why they never had the chance to lose you?
-Han Sooyoung/1863rd in particular
Writing a story for that one reader without ever being able to hold him, to tell him she cares for him, a love that’s built on sacrifice and could never love him personally like a parent, and when they meet for the first time face to face, she is a plagiarist writer whose personality don’t work quite well with him, unknowing that she had long carried his life through words alone. And she’d keep writing the story for him, forever, out of selfishness, that’s also love, care and yearning.
Curses by Crane Wives
There's still cobwebs in the corners And the backyard's full of bones Won't you stay with me, my darling When this house don't feel like home? When this house don't feel like home
Oh, ashes, ashes, dust to dust The devil's after both of us Ooh, lay my curses out to rest Make a mercy out of me
-Yoo Joonghyuk
Becoming slowly disconnected from the present time due to regression, death permeating his path and everywhere he could see, even in the 1864th round, having to watch Dokja die over and over again, and uselessly trying to keep him from sacrificing himself. Being life and death companions with this dumbass that inevitably lands him in graver danger than he should be facing, and eventually reaching the conclusion with him, along with finding the truth about his constellation sponsor, and his whole existence that kept that dumbass— a child crying out for help— alive for such a long time.

Today I once again continue to watch summaries of “all the games I’ve been meaning to watch because I can’t afford to play them but I never got around to it” with The Stanley Parable (well- only watched one video, but I’m starting to get the gist). Looking at OMORI and Undertale next. Yes I have not completed a watch through of Undertale.
I’ve got this thing rotting in my gallery for two weeks or something. I should make a collection of “ORV animatic ideas that I sketched out / made a small part of but didn’t put my mind into finishing it.”
I started LOTM and so far I’m in 5 chapters so this one guy went from
-Grocery shopping (with a gun)
-Nearly pulled said gun on a tarot card reader
-attempt a ticket-back-home ritual with said groceries
-Trick some unsuspecting people into thinking he’s some ooo mysterious powerful figure
In one morning.
Cool hobbies, Klein.
LOTM progress
I got to the Qilangos assassination plan-grand ball arc and as I was thinking about how this very haphazard attack plan that half relied on luck and half relied on broken telephone communication was the one that succeeded among all the government agents because “if you don’t know what tf you are doing, the enemy doesn’t either”
And the reactions of people who was involved in it were just
“Oh cool anyways flesh glove” “cool that guy’s dead” “don’t be suspicious don’t be suspicious” “dang it worked wtf”
This is the funniest group ever.
YES YES YES
Hey what if in the future when ORV has an anime and all that stuff and we get one of those limited time pop up cafes and one of the menus is a fried squid donut that if you split it apart there’d be ketchup inside to reference the entire 73rd DK arc…
And maybe with every order you get a small blurb from ORV on your bill where you can put it on a wall with all the other orders to form the entire story of ORV like how HSY did in the epilogue (and if you don’t know/forgot where you can interact with other ORV readers to put it up on the wall)…
Of course we’d also have Murim dumplings, chicken broth and a tomato salad bowl on the menu.
I can imagine a drink for OD as a butterfly pea tea that can change from blue to purple with lemon juice. It’d have like a pinch of edible glitter in it to look like stars.. Then SP’s drink is just a glass of wine lmao.
You know what else would be cute too? Posters on the wall that looks like we’re watching the kkomas cooking. And if you ask the waiter about the food they’ll just say [number] is cooking slowly because [that one Kkoma I forgot the number of] is off-duty today.
Also a section of the cafe is a small reading corner with ORV volumes to read but it’s designed to look like the inside of a subway because why not.
