anyways the context for this’ll be below the cut!

so, as kids, the turtles loved wandering. splinter never wanted them to get lost, so he came up with an idea to paint little clues back to the lair. red would mean take a right, green would mean take a left. if painted side-by-side/together, it’d mean continue forwards.

the babies are with him here because he wanted to lodge it into their little brains so they’d be able to remember.

and then again,, sometimes the sewers aren’t always completely empty.

god it's so frustrating that people critcize ROTTMNT for being "too much into the mystic/magic" thing when season 5 of TMNT 2003 is right there.
