a kind-of wip that i don’t really like but i spent a good bit of time on it and it’s been sitting and brewing for a while so why not post it?
anyways the context for this’ll be below the cut!
so, as kids, the turtles loved wandering. splinter never wanted them to get lost, so he came up with an idea to paint little clues back to the lair. red would mean take a right, green would mean take a left. if painted side-by-side/together, it’d mean continue forwards.
the babies are with him here because he wanted to lodge it into their little brains so they’d be able to remember.
and then again,, sometimes the sewers aren’t always completely empty.
