Random Excerpt From The Current Chapter Of "The Falling Light" That I'm Working On Now:
Random excerpt from the current chapter of "The Falling Light" that I'm working on now:
The Nohrian princess looked back over at the small crowd of Hoshidans and Nohrians.
"I need you all to make me angry."
"You're a bitch, and nobody likes you." Takumi supplied so quickly she was certain that was going to be his response regardless of what she had asked.
"I appreciate the thought, Takumi, but I don't care enough about your opinion for your words to hurt me." She told him sincerely. "Anyone else?"
Bonus scene:
As the second prince passed her, he whispered just loud enough for Nerr to pick up.
"You look like a really stupid prostitute."
"Thank you, Takumi."

Okay, so old digital sketch is old and not great, BUT... Nerr and Gunther's wedding clothes are based on Mega Gardevoir and Mega Gallade. But, like... SHINY Megas, so they're wearing black. Because I want Nerr to wear a giant, poofy wedding dress with a huge ass bow on the front.
...Corrin's NOT asian. They're Vallite, like Azura and Arete. The better question is how come no one noticed they were a dragon. Are pointy ears and red snake eyes normal birth defects in Nohr?
how come none of the nohrian siblings noticed that corrin was asian lol
the siblings does notice, it’s corrin who don’t cause they never go outside!
You show me a standalone female lord who doesn't have the option of being turned into a guy, and who is front and center of the only story the game tells, and I'll show you a female protagonist. Lyn is nothing but an afterthought added to the story for the sole sake of making a tutorial. Eirika and Celica might have had their own routes, but story wise, they're just there to cause problems with how naive they are (Echoes!Celica, at least- haven't played Gaiden, won't judge it). Corrin, the closest we have to a female lord, gets stuffed in the corner by Nintendo- case in point, she's a fucking skin in Smash. She's "player2", meaning she's not the default meaning she's not canon. You'd better believe your ass the only reason she's in Warriors and not Corn is because she's way more popular than him.
We will not have a female protagonist- that is to say the MAIN character, not a side character that shows up alot- until IntSys makes Marth or Ike a girl. No split routes, no dual lords, no choose your gender- you're playing as a girl. Period.
nobody said it was bad to have a female protagonist lmao. stop assuming sweetie. Celica, Micaiah, Lucina, Lissa, Azura, Lyn, Erika, and Robin are all better female protagonists than Female Corrin. Especially Lyn.
Right, but they aren’t the main leads. I’m not saying there are NO female protagonists, I’m saying they are far outnumbered by their male counterparts and no one ever says they “can’t stand” the male protags for being shown more frequently. Also, please don’t call me sweety? It’s super condescending. I’m not a child and you don’t need to refer to me as such because you disagree with me.
Gods help me, I love this Mad Troll...

Sorry I’ve been gone for a bit… But here’s a lineart I did a while back! Gangrel from Fire Emblem: Awakening.
When I was in highschool, my English teacher always praised me for being a prolific writer. If the assignment was one page, I'd hand in three, front and back. I wasn't an overacheiver (if anything, I was an underacheiver- I HATED school), but it seems that shit's hereditary. Neither of my parents understand the meaning of "get to the point". My mom spends six hours writing ONE email to her friends. I keep telling her to devote that energy to fanfiction. I think it's coming back to bite me in the ass. Now, I write for fun, not grades, but for some reason, it's ingrained in my mind that more is more, and fuck everyone who says otherwise. If I write a chapter less than 10k words long, I feel like I've failed. I've just started working on a oneshot. An hour in, it's four pages- without formatting or indentations, just four pages of a single solid block of text- and I'm going out of my mind wondering is it going to be "enough" when it's done. My first completed fic? Thirty two chapters. Almost 400k words. I feel so proud of myself... until I see other fics that are forty, fifty, SIXTY+ chapters. "WHY ARE YOU BETTER THAN ME?!" I want to scream at their authors without even reading a chapter (if I read their work, and it's amazing, I will lose all my will to live). Is this just a "me" problem? Or are there other people who think their fanwork isn't worth publishing if it's not at least an early Harry Potter book in length?
