THIS!! I'm in a trans group irl, and one of the biggest rules is not outing people. Understandably so: outing people can be EXCEEDINGLY dangerous! That should be a no-brainer, especially for other queer people.

Periodic reminder that unless a person specifically and clearly tells you it is okay to tell others they are trans or queer, you should err on the side of caution and assume they do not want you to tell people (especially random people!) about their transness or queerness.

You have no idea, generally, why somebody doesn't talk openly about their trans or queer status, and you have no idea, truly, how somebody might react to that information. The most progressive person out there is still capable of harbouring incredibly negative thoughts about somebody's queer status.

Yeah honestly we're all over the place most of the time too. I deadass thought I was a singlet for an uncomfortably lengthy amount of time, because being pluralflux sucks™️/hj

It's even worse (/lh) considering we are rarely anything more than a median system, all of our fronts are co-conscious cuz I'm ALWAYS HERE, and I constantly have imposter syndrome because none of us can seem to communicate with each other lmfao

something thats been helping us a lot recently has been letting alters just exist. i see a lot of systems who have strict roles and distinct alters, and it can be stressful to see that be the “norm” when our system isnt like that.

we’ve tried forcing individuality, but it only let to more dormancy. we tried figuring out everyones role, but there are too many alters who front just to do very specific things.

now, we are just letting ourselves exist as we are and communicating is way easier. we dont lose so much time anymore. i can remember a lot more (even if i still have emotional detachment).

i guess im just saying that as a system, do what helps you.

tracking fronts? go for it. assigning roles? pop off. making picrews and profiles for every person? thats so awesome.

Legit being an Inclusionist is actually really fun and easy to do. Not giving a fuck about what someone labels themself as or why is fun and easy to do. Letting people express themselves and not harassing them into fitting perfectly cut boxes is fun and easy to do.

Being an Inclusionist is great. It's legit like. I'm here. I'm sitting here. We are both sitting here. We are all just vibing. We are having a good time because none of us give a shit. That's it. That is literally it. Maybe come and quietly sit with us in a metaphorical field and you'll feel better and less full of toxic gatekeepy bigotry.
