These types of people did something similar with Demi Lovato. The moment they said they go by she/they, righties and other transphobes were like 'SEE? SEE? SHE WAS JUST HOPPING A TREND! SHE WASN'T REALLY NON-BINARY' meanwhile all Demi said was that her pronouns changed-

Avery Jackson did a non-medical transition at the age of four. At the time, they felt more comfortable as a girl. As they grew up and their understanding of gender evolved, they decided nonbinary transgender suited them better.

And now that they are 15, their family is moving out of Missouri because they fear the recent draconian anti-trans laws.

"No longer identifies as a girl" does not mean they identify as a boy. They are still trans. They knew from the age of 4 that being a boy was not right for them.

I don't think they changed their mind. I think they just found a better understanding of who they were.

These bigots know nothing about trans people yet think they are qualified to criticize them.

I mean yeah no shit they hate trans people, they're just using kids as a scapegoat. It's an easy facade to pull off in front of the ignorant: 'We care about kids! We want to protect them from [scary buzzword]!' but they really don't care about the 'mutilation' of kids unless it suits their narrative. Circumcision? Surgeries on intersex kids? That's fine, that's NORMAL! Meanwhile it's fuckin weird but as long as it fits THEIR narrative, they see nothing wrong with altering the genitals of literal infants.

something thats been helping us a lot recently has been letting alters just exist. i see a lot of systems who have strict roles and distinct alters, and it can be stressful to see that be the “norm” when our system isnt like that.

we’ve tried forcing individuality, but it only let to more dormancy. we tried figuring out everyones role, but there are too many alters who front just to do very specific things.

now, we are just letting ourselves exist as we are and communicating is way easier. we dont lose so much time anymore. i can remember a lot more (even if i still have emotional detachment).

i guess im just saying that as a system, do what helps you.

tracking fronts? go for it. assigning roles? pop off. making picrews and profiles for every person? thats so awesome.

the broadness of the terms aromantic and asexual is great because they can literally mean whatever they want to mean for you it's so unrestrictive.

From people who are against men being lesbians, their opinions about male/female multigender lesbians seems to fall into one of two categories:

"They can be lesbians even though they're men, because being multigender means they're not REALLY men," or

"They can't be lesbians even though they're literally women attracted to women, because being multigender means they're not REALLY women."

And both are shitty! It's not enough to validate someone's male identity or their lesbian identity- unless you validate both, you're being a transphobic asshole, full stop. And there's no way to validate both aspects of a multigender male lesbian's identity if you believe men can't be lesbians.
