Heya! I'm newer to this fandom, and I cannot figure out for the life of me what the y2kvr au is (sorry if I got the name wrong). What is it exactly, if you don't mind me asking?

Y2KVR is an AU based on HLVRAI where Gordon, instead of triggering the resonance cascade and have to escape Black Mesa in the game, is trapped inside his own computer at his house. The science team members are no longer his fellow NPC scientists but sentient computer companions in a software called Y2KVR (that never gets its proper release due to the Y2K scare). Together they must escape from his computer-that is the general plot.
