Hii My Question Would Be, Do You Believe Voldemort Incapable To Love Because Of The Love Potion? I Always
Hii my question would be, do you believe Voldemort incapable to love because of the love potion? I always had the feeling he was very cold and not interested in any kind of connection that doesn't serve his ambition but reading your posts I thought you might have spotted something I haven't
Thank youu!:)
Hello!
I think Voldemort not only is capable of love but that he is desperate for a human connection but has no idea how to get it. I believe that's what motivated him to speak to Slughorn about Horcruxes, for example. He is also clearly invested in relationships between his followers. He does care for Nagini, he shows actual regret and pain at having to kill Severus. He screams in anguish when Bellatrix dies. I don't think he's really cold, he just, has a pretty skewed concept of friendship and family (as a man who never had either). And he's incredibly prideful and has little to no give in his relationships.
I talk about this more here, here, and here.

my life was nothing but misery at this place and now people come along ruining my death!

Character Aesthetic Myrtle Warren
'why are people inserting gender politics into Star Wars' my guy the character arc of Anakin/Vader is a meta-commentary on how toxic masculinity is a literal living prison.
'why is Star Wars political now' my dude the OT is about the fall of the Empire, an authoritarian, fascist, pro-military regime. That part isn't even meta-commentary. It's called the freaking Empire.
